2026-04-09 Easter Egg Hunt! Shaky Chic, Dim Sum, Expensive But Nice Peruvian, States 50s Wind Up, Siena's Happy Night, Nest with Egg in infected Lemon Tree, River Paddleboard

Rox: We had Dim Sum and Siena's - it was so nice!

Paish: I loved our Easter Egg Hunt - Dad had to help in the end though, as we struggled.

C: Loved the Peruvian, very delicate food, but a bit expensive. I think we can make it ourselves!

Had a very cool paddle board along the coast near Point Walter - we thought the wind would be too strong to paddle back, but it was fine.

Siena's was amazing! Pizza and pasta all round!

S: 50's wind up was very funny, and slightly messy! Not for me though. Great to catch up with everyone.

Found an unhatched egg in the lemon tree as we were trying to trim the infected gall wasp - looks like we have to delay for a week or so! We need to look after the egg, especially at easter!

Bau was shaky chic on the way in, but happy coming out, as usual.

Went out on my foil - hadn't been for ages, and wasn't in the mood - it was hard going at the Wall!

Bau: I was really brave this time! Honest!

2026-03-31 Rox Change of Direction! Cool Photos of Paish! Suncorp has started, WANL round robin, Force vs Chiefs, Cyclone Narelle, End of Summer, $0 Parking Ticket

Paish: Getting back into full training now, and had some cool photos taken of me! Getting exciting now!

Went to watch the Chiefs vs Force - we could have won, but we fluffed it on the line! What a shame.

I loved the cyclone though - it was cool having rain again, but unfortunately it may be the end of summer.

Rox: I did my first change of direction! It was very cool and felt fine. Very exciting moment!

C: Suncorp has started, and Fever are doing very well, with only one loss to the Thunderbirds so far, and we played badly. We could do very well this season I think, considering we still have people coming back.

WANL starts after Easter, but we had a couple of round robins and it was so nice watching again. Comets look very good so far, and they still have people coming back too!

We had a cool walk with the Bau the other way along Burns Beach, and we discovered a small cove - it was so nice, and we let Bau off the lead! Notty!

S: Phew, my parking ticket at Pinneroo was for $0 - not doing that again.

When driving home, I saw something familiar in the road at the top of our hill - I stopped and had a look, and realised it was toast, and a plate, strewn all over the road after Paish left it on top of her car! I sent her a funny video, and her colleagues liked it. Funny!

Bau: I loved the new walk! Love it!

2026-03-15 Back To Foiling / Stranded, Paish Testing Non-Surprise, Rox Birthday Dinner, Exploded Eggs, 6-Nations Super Saturday, Peita, Penguin Island

Rox: We finally went to Mings for my birthday dinner! It didn't seem like the same place as they have changed a lot, but the dinner was still yummy!

Dad and I went to Japanese too!

We decided to drive down to surprise Paish with her final knee test - we drove all the way down to Ross Radish's clinic, and the person who was doing the testing was sick, and cancelled! It was so sad, it would have been a cool surprise.

Paish: What the heck was that exploding in the pan! Oh, Dad's tea leaf eggs! Bau was so scared!

I love Mings!

C: Penguin Island was so nice, and it wasn't too hot for us to walk around. It was a bit windy, but I finally paddled out to where Doody was. It has changed a lot, and no more penguins exist on the island as the sea temperature is too warm due to global warming, which is scary. It was such a nice day though, and the pelicans were amazing.

S: It was the 6-nations Super Saturday, and 3 teams could win it - Ireland, Scotland or France. The first game was Ireland vs Scotland, and who ever won that went top. Ireland won. Then it was down to the final game - France vs England. Everyone predicted France would walk it, but in the end England turned up, and could have won it if they held their composure in the last minute. They gave away a penalty, and Ramos kicked it. It was an amazing game, and fitting France won.

Found out Peita passed away - so young! Still no idea how, but I supposed we will not know.

Shocking that there are no more penguins due to global warming. I wish we all could act quicker!

Went for an Easterly foil, but the wind died after an hour, and I had a long swim back - and hurt my back. It was nice while it lasted though!

2026-02-27 Bottomless Brunch, Marty Supreme, Knee Rehab, "It's Me Again" Released + Music Video in Freo, Our First Mango in 20 Years

S: We finally grew a mango after 20 years of trying! It wasn't from our original tree which we think is not doing well, but from our new tree, and it tasted so nice! There is a second one too, exciting!

Our new song "It's Me Again" was released, and I recorded a music video for the song in Fremantle, after our Aussie Bloke video shoot, which was fun to shoot, as it felt a bit weird, and a couple of people were walking in front of my camera too. Ah well. It turned out well though.

We went to watch Marty Supreme - I initially didn't like it as I thought it was going to be a bit corny, but in the end it turned out completely different to how I imagined, and was brilliant. Very impressive.

Still doing knee rehab after states, but it is slowly coming good.

Paish: Another bottomless brunch for me! Yay!

C: Bau looks so cute after her Shaggy Chic cut!

2026-02-15 We Won State Titles Again! Roxy's Amazing First Run! The Crazy Rehab Worked

Rox: I did my first straight run on my birthday! It felt great. The whole Fever team cheered me on which was so cool. And of course Guy was there.

Dad and I went out for Korean - the nicest chicken wings ever!

Well done Dad - another medal!

Paish: Amazing Sis! You have done so well!

Great job Dad - where are you going to put all your medals now!?

C: So proud of you Rox! Not long now!

S: Watching Roxy's first run brought tears to my eyes - what a journey. I sat next to Spence and watched it, and he could tell it meant a lot.

AND....we won States again! The final was pretty hairy, but we were unbeaten again, although we drew to the second Singapore team in the last minute, but we were down a few players too. Our best game was against Northern which we won 5-2. We were pretty proud of ourselves, but they turned it up in the final which we only won by one. There was a very controversial end where the refs blew the whistle, then they didn't and it was mayhem. The refs also lost count of the touches multiple times which was a concern.
