2026-10-10 Fever Training Partner, Metricup Mini Break with my sore tooth, Szechuan Fish, Winston Again!

Rox: The BIGGEST announcement ever! They announced my Fever Training Partner! It was so exciting, and I got a lot of really nice comments (and one weird one which got taken down!), and the reel they put together for me was pretty cool - even had the Jo Harten clip in it!

I'm babysitting Winston again - yay! He's so cute!

C: ROX! Your announcement was so exciting! So proud of you! Can't wait to see you play after all you hard work - not long now!

We carried on with his birthday celebrations, I took Doody to Metricup where we stayed on a farm with a lake! It was amazing! We were only there two nights, but each night we made a log burner by the lake and looked at the stars - it was so cool.

We did a huge walk on Yallingup beach - it was gorgeous, lots of surfers, and at the end we encountered a swarm of flies - not so nice. Doody got soaked by a freak wave too which was funny.

It was just a shame that my tooth was so sore, and we almost had to come home after one night, but I survived and saw a new dentist who sorted me, but spotted some other issues too, so we will all be switching to that dentist!

S: So proud of you Rox - your reel was so cool! Can't believe that one comment - hilarious everyone bashed her!

I loved our farm and Carlo the owner who loved chatting to us about his flying days with Singapore Airlines and Ansett. I loved our evening fires by the lake, the stars and the run! 

We had Arthur's Beef and anchovy spaghetti for our dinners, and we went out to the Beer Farm for lunch which was amazing! We stopped off at the Crooked Carrot on the way home and had a smashed burger which was amazing!

I even made a plasticine man to wait for us until we come back here!

Yum, Szechuan fish again!

2026-10-04 My Birthday Weekend! Western Force Final vs Waratahs, Yanchep BBQ, The Greatest Showman, Nobu, More Pilates

S: What an amazing weekend! I thought last weekend was perfect, but this weekend was just as cool!

We started off with the Super Rugby A final at Scotch College - Force vs Waratahs - it was an amazing game to watch live, and we smashed it! So cool.

We then packed up and went to Yanchep for a BBQ which was so cool! We had the place all to ourselves! We had loads of food and it was yummy!

My presents were super cool too! Rox and I will be doing our camping trip, we are going to see The Greatest Showman, then going to Nobu! How cool!

The Greatest Showman was amazing! We all dressed up, we went to the pre-show for a little, then watched the most amazing performance, plus had a sneaky Vanilla Lace ice cream sandwich which was so nice! Definitely one of the best shows I've seen. Rox was super excited! Me and Paish played cards in between, and she may say she won, but I'm not sure.

Afterwards, we went to Nobu, had the sweetest waiter whom we tipped $10 and said we were a sweet family, and we just got a whole bunch of dishes - sashimi, pork and wagyu tacos, sushi (Rox did not like!), ceviche, tataki, and two amazing deserts!

I also had our birthday lunch with Marcel again - time just flew! I had chilli mussels - yum! Went for a foil after at the river, saw Deano. It was okay, but a bit shallow so I face planted a lot!

Thanks guys for everything - it was the best fun ever!

Paish: The Vanilla Lace and Nobu were incredible! I loved them both! The show was so cool! I did beat Dad at blackjack!

There was a lady behind us who sang aloud to each song - at least she had a nice voice! I thought Dad would get annoyed, but he didn't mind either.

Rox: I was so excited about The Greatest Showman, and it was everything I expected - I loved it!

The sushi not so much.

C: Such a cool weekend! The show and the food were amazing, and I loved Yanchep - it has been a while since we last went there!

2026-09-28 Whale on City Beach, The Best Long Weekend Ever! Verge Greens Collection, Shark Attacks, Paddleboarding!

 

Paish: It was such a fun weekend - loads of rugby, and watching the Wallabies beat SA in Optus, with Harrison as the DJ was just the best! The NRL was crazy!

Rox: I actually ended up loving the paddleboarding. We paddled to Crown and saw what looked like circus tents - little did Daddy know we were going for his birthday! Exciting!

A whale was washed up on City Beach - it attracted a lot of sharks, but was amazing to see.

S: This was the most perfect long weekend! I loved it!

Paish and I watched the two NRL semi finals - Fri / Sun, we went to watch the Force on Saturday play Reds, we did gardening, we went to see the Wallabies beat South Africa at Optus which was amazing, even though they perhaps should not have won, the Rox and I went paddle boarding on Monday around the Optus Stadium Matagarup bridge! She didn't want to initially go, but loved it! Harrison was very cool as the DJ!

The whole long weekend was so much fun!

C: Very cool seeing Harrison DJ at the game! Really enjoyed the game too!

2026-09-19 My Netball Team Won The Final! Golf Day, Shark Attacks, George's Final, Szechuan!

 

Rox: My 15s team played their final against the 18s Team 1, and we smashed them! It was great, and I loved coaching them with Tracy Swarmi!

We went to watch George's final against Perth Glory - they didn't expect to win, and in the first half we went down 1-0 and hardly touched the ball! We managed to score off a corner just before half time, then we started to get more possession, and George stole the ball when they were trying to clear it, and scored - I cried! I was so proud! We then scored again near the end making it 3-1. There was 12 minutes stoppage time due to a bad injury, but we managed to hang on! It was so cool!

C: Loved watching Georges game and Roxy's team winning the final - they are so good!

S: There were two shark attacks - Geraldton (Tue) and Sorrento (Fri). I tried to foil on the Wednesday and got stuck out at Pinneroo, little did I know! The man in Sorrento was a swimmer and died. The Geraldton man lost a leg. Scary stuff! I think I'll be going to the river until it gets a bit warmer!

Well done George winning your final - it was a very exciting game!

We had our monthly outing - this time mini golf at Optus! Lots of laughs!
