2006-02-27 "Come on yellows!"
A: Daddy took me to the rugby on Friday night! It was so much fun, and I stayed up really late! Daddy wanted the blue team, called Force to win, and I wanted the yellow team called the Chiefs. Everytime I shouted “Come on yellow team”, they scored. Daddy was not happy, and tickled me everytime I shouted it! The yellows won, tee hee. The trains were so crowded, but I had my buggy, and a great seat! We had to wait for 3 trains to get in!
On Saturday, I did really good aeroplane wings at tennis, and then went to Beatie Park, but couldn’t find my friend Emma. Went to Josh’s in the afternoon, and swam in their pool – Daddy was such a monster, and Josh and I ran and ran! Josh and I played really well, and he wrote my name on his picture for me! I stuck it up in the lounge.
On Sunday, we went to our usual Bold Park swim, and I did backstroke for the first time! I was very proud of myself, and I did more jumping off the blocks! There was a runaway train! I did more tennis in the evening, which was so funny!
Favourite baby: Giraffe, who I lose almost each night as he is so tiny, and it upsets me!
C: Can’t wait to have a pool! Jeremy and Lin’s pool was so nice! I can see myself spending hours lazing around our pool, reading! If only…
Aiysha went to her new friend Hannah’s last week after school, and had so much fun! Now Aiysha wants a sleep over! That would be bliss!
We bought a tent which we hope will be delivered this week ready for the long weekend! Camping is going to be so much fun!
S: Had our touch rugby finals last week, but lost 7-6 in the final, and I pulled my thigh too, which didn’t help. We had an unbeaten season until the last match – shame! Another hot weekend, and is set to get hotter this week! We do need an aircon!
Aiysha was so helpful this weekend – wanting to help unpack the shopping, and tidy away! She got a few treats!
Meals: Barbecue marinated steaks, sausages, and gorgeous crumble and cheesecake! Singapore noodles.

2006-02-22 Clear Jellies!
C: Saw our dream home this weekend, which we have expressed great interest in. It is in Edgewater, with a pool, and soooo much space. It already has an offer on it, but if that falls through we will make an offer! It would be just amazing!
A: Saw some clear jellyfish in Matilda Bay today, but they were the stinging kind! Mummy tells me never to touch jellyfish until I see someone else touch them, and no one was touching the clear jellies! Had another bike ride on my trailer - from Scarborough to a park I have never been to near Bennion Beach! I have also been invited to another Fairy Party! YEAH!
Got lovely cards from Auntie Lizzie, and from Great Grandma! Can't wait until I come to England!
S: This weekend we had huge gusts which led to me losing my shades while I was windsurfing. It was a disastrous effort, resulting in me drifting almost into Perth city, and having to drag my board about 20 minutes back to where I started. Even the seagulls were screaming at me to return back to shore!
Meals: Barbecue Perch, Barbecue Coconut Prawns, Chicken Wings

2006-02-16 Dummy Nose!
A: I went to bed with my pink 'dummy'! Look where it ended up! Mummy had to come in and remove it!! I have soooo many things in my bed at night time - there is not much room left for me! Mummy clears the bed after i have gone to sleep but i am cross with her when i can't find my 'babies' in the morning!! Naughty Mummy!
2006-02-16 Is that rain?
S: Yesterday, it drizzled very lightly for a few minutes in the morning. Aiysha ran outside, half naked, and jumped up and down shouting "I'm getting wet!", laughing hysterically.
That is how little it rains here in the summer. It sends little children loopy.

2006-02-13 The best bike ride ever!
S: Another hot weekend, with temperatures only in the low to mid 30's. Aiysha had her first tennis lesson since the Christmas break, and her stop sign was performing well. She chatted to Daniel ALL the time, even when he was teaching the other kids, but the heat quickly sapped her energy, and she made it quite clear to everyone that she was tired. That is when they stopped playing tennis and played a few games, which Aiysha loved! I managed not to go backwards on the windsurfer...but did manage to take out a few kiteboarders! Some of the jellyfish I saw were as big as my head! Good job they don’t sting!
A: Daddy went for his 3rd windsurfing session, without his teacher this time. While Daddy was sailing into kiteboarders, Mummy and I went on a bike ride with my new trailer bike, and it was amazing! On Sunday we took my trailer bike to Trigg, and cycled all the way to Hillary's beach where I ran away from the big monster (Daddy) by grabbing onto Mummy's bikini and pulling it down - tee hee. We cycled back from Hillary's, and everyone was pointing and looking at me! I felt really brave, and so grown up. As a reward, Mummy and I made some A cakes! Licking the bowl is my favourite! On Sunday we went swimming at Bold Park, and Daddy pushed me to the bottom so I could touch it! I loved it and did it again, and again, with my goggles! I also jumped off the starting blocks - they're so high, and my belly makes a big splash!
C: We went out to a wonderful restaurant opposite Bennion Beach (next to Mettams Pools), and had possibly the best meal in Australia since we arrived! Fish, Chilli Octopus and a lovely Ceasar Salad! We ate as we watched the sun set on a beautiful blue sky - perfect!

2006-02-07 My Second Day
A: I had a great second day at Newborough Kindy, and my first day at Tiny Beez was the best first day the carers had seen! They are very nice! I didn't eat their scones though. I don't like scones. Mummy and Daddy do though, with cream and jam - yukky!
I came back home and checked the mail, to find lots of stars from Granny Tonic! I have placed the batik in my bedside drawer ready to put on my window in the morning! Thank you Granny!
