A: The Easter Bunny was really nice to me this weekend! He came to hide my Easter eggs around Thrall Street House, and I found all of them even before Grandad and Grandma got up! I’m really good at finding eggs!
On Friday, we all went to Yanchep, and it was lovely. We went to a lagoon, and we all went for a swim – it was a bit chilly, so Grandad ran into the water – it was really funny. The current was so strong that Mummy was going nowhere when she swam against it. We went to the national park after, and I saw the Koalas first! We also went on a spooky spider walk, and saw the biggest webs I have ever seen! I was a bit scared at night because of it though.
On Saturday we went to Bold Park for Mummy’s swim, and then City Beach – it was lovely, and I played in the park while Daddy went for a run. Grandma and Grandad went to Scarborough Beach for a walk.
On Sunday Grandma and Grandad and Daddy took me to see our new house, and we fed the ducks! It was really beautiful. We then went out to City Beach and did the boardwalk. We stopped for ice cream at Floreat, and I played in the park while Grandma and Grandad sheltered from the wind!
On Monday we decided to go to Caversham Farm Park – it was so funny! While we had lunch, we went to look at a wombat sleeping in an enclosure next to us, and it was really big! However, when we decided to go to the Wombat holding area, we had no idea a wombat was that big! It was actually bigger than me, and weighed 26kg! It was huge, and it just sat there. Daddy looked so funny holding it! I was also very brave on my second camel ride with Daddy – the camels kneeled down, we climbed on, and it stood up. It was pretty bumpy, but funny. At the start I told Daddy I was “little scared”, but in the end I loved it! We also felt a snake, and an owl, and saw a Tasmanian Devil, who was doing laps of his enclosure! I spent ages feeding one Joey – he loved me, and I loved him!
After Caversham, we went to the Bennion for cakes, coffee and ice cream - it was lovely, and walked along the coves after. What a lovely day we've had!
C: I am slowly gathering all the things to decorate Aiysha’s room in the house! It is going to be wonderful! I already have lots of fairy pictures and flowers for her! We also bought some new furniture – a dining table, a coffee table and a TV stand for the new house, which look very nice.
S: Man, that wombat was absolutely enormous! I have never held anything like that in my life, and it was rather humbling…
