2006-05-22 I Won A Prize for Our New House!

A:
Last week, Mummy and I went to Bunnings, and I wanted to enter a colouring competition! We went home, and I did my best colouring ever! I handed it in, and on Sunday I got a call saying I had WON the 3-4 year old age group! I was sooo excited, and I got $50! Wow! All those tools I could buy at Bunnings! Mummy promised me she would buy me something else with the money though, which I look forward to!

Spent this weekend at the new house! It looks amazing! While Mummy painted my room, Daddy and I moved things from our Thrall Street house to the new Winnie The Pooh house! Daddy also took me to Beatie Park, which I was so happy about! They set up a bouncy castle/obstacle course on the water – it was so much fun!

C: We still can’t believe this is our house! I don’t think it will hit us until all our stuff has moved in! We’re concentrating on Aiysha’s room at the moment, repainting and decorating before the removal men come next week. A lot of work still needs doing to the house, but the pool area looks amazing! Haven’t tried it out yet, but will do when we move in properly – turn the heating on too!

S: Claire did an amazing job with Aiysha’s room, and planting. I’m doing the ‘heavy’ stuff. We have sooo much room! We think back to Abinger Drive often, and wonder how we ended up here – a different world! We feel very lucky…

We look forward to the celebratory meal we promised ourselves for when we moved in – ooh, what restaurant shall it be? Tee hee…

Went climbing on Sunday, which I organised for my company – haven’t been climbing since I injured my hand, and it was hard work!

Favourite Baby: Valentino, for sitting in the windscreen, and keeping an eye on the traffic as we moved our things to the new house

Meals: Sweet Sauce Chicken, Spicy Pork Balls, Chilli in Taco Shells, Pizza!

2006-05-07 All Off For Leukemia!

A:
We just came back from a sunset ride to Hilary's Marina and back. Even though I wanted to go on the trampolines, I settled for spotting fish on the pier! I watched the sun disappear as I rode on my trailer bike - scary!

Daddy's hair is cool! It is so soft, and I cannot help feeling it! He says he did it to help sick children, which is nice. He has raised a lot of money too, thanks to everyone who donated!

Went for a cycle near Applecross on Saturday, and played in the biggest park ever at Heathcote - it is amazing with a huge ship and even a big shark! Daddy chased us around, which was very funny as he had trouble finding us!

We saw our new house today, and we can't wait to move in! The pool is heated, and I can't wait for Mummy to decorate my room! I am so excited!

Saw Maya at Beatie Park on Sunday morning! We got chased by crocodiles!

C: I love our new house! Can't wait to move in, and to use our pool. The view is beautiful, and we'll have a dishwasher! What a luxury! It is all very exciting...Unfortunately, we didn't have time to take pictures inside - only one outside, but as soon as we move in, we will!

Still doing my swim, but this time at Beatie Park so Daddy and Aiysha can go in the indoor pool!

S: Not sure about my hair, but it is easy to maintain!

Favourite Baby: Porcupine Head (Daddy)

Meals: Pink Snapper in Sweet Sauce, Mousakka, Chicken Wings.

2006-04-01 We’re Almost In Our New House!

A: It was sad to see Grandma and Grandad go – I had such fun with them, and they really made me laugh! Grandma always did puzzles with me, and Grandad always read me a really funny story. He also has the softest ears! Daddy thinks so too! Daddy took me to Perry Lakes while Mummy went for her Bold Park swim. We played basketball, rugby, watched the skateboarders, and climbed trees! I also had my second attempt at riding without stabilisers but with Daddy’s help, and I did really well! It won’t be long before I am riding on my own! We spent a lovely afternoon at Matilda Bay – almost all the jellies have gone! I caught a few, but winter is here, and they gave disappeared.

C: Had a lovely birthday – lots of cards, presents, and messages from sooo many people. I even got a song on the answer machine which cut off in the middle – I wonder who that could have been? Busy hunting around for plants for our new house. We might even get a real mango tree – now that would be amazing! Mango pancakes here we come! We get to do our final inspection this Sunday! It is so exciting!

S: Great to see Mum and Dad enjoying Scarborough Beach walking and running during the week. We gave them a taste of garage sales too – just a shame that the sales were not very good. The weather took a turn for the worst, but it didn’t stop us going walking along the coast in the rain. It cleared up pretty much everytime, and the rainbows were lovely.

Meals: Hock, Chicken in Salty and Sweet Sauce, Stir Fried Prawns, Chop-Chop

Favourite Baby: Fluffy, as he helped me sleep when I was upset
