2007-02-14 Clara Anais Wigley!

Aiysha:
My little sister arrived today! I was at school, but as soon as I came back, I went to the 'hostiple' to see Mummy and Clara! Daddy came and picked me up, and said "Look at me, Look at me! You have a little sister called Clara!". I was so excited! She was so small, and didn't not move a lot, but I was so proud! I helped change nappies, and since she's been at home I have helped bath her, and helped Mummy feed her! Hannah and Beck came to visit, which was really nice! Hannah was very delicate with Clara, and we shared holding her, and carrying her! She's always sleeping!?

Last week I went to Hannah's birthday party, and it was so fun! We all went to Challenge Stadium, and Daddy and Mummy came with me. We spent the morning in the diving pool. I went off the 3 metre pool, and Daddy went off what looked like the 15m diving board! It was so funny! We then went to the gym, which was reserved just for us - it was the size of a sporthall, and the floors were so bouncy! I loved balancing on the beams, and Daddy swung me into the foam balls! Hannah and I danced so much to the music. We went outside for lunch, and we had a lot of cake and chips!

I also went with Daddy to Western Force, and we lost by one point! Daddy didn't bring the buggy, and I managed to walk most of the way! We also visited an electronic toilet, which was really funny! I love going to see Western Force! Jeremy, Steve, Barbera and Paul were there too, and I had fun bopping them on the head with an inflatable club. Someone on the train also gave me a retractable banner! Daddy and I looked out the window of the train, and played "Car, Car, Bush, Bush", where we just said what the next thing which came along was - this game made me laugh so much!

Grandma and Grandpa have been helping out loads - they have been taking me to school, putting things up in the garden, making lovely dinners! It is so great having them around!

Daddy also took me to see Happy Feet, but I only lasted 5 minutes as I was scared. Daddy got our money back, and took me to Timezone, which was full of games, and I loved playing table ice hockey with Daddy! That was my favourite!

We've made this new game up called Goalie, where I stand on top of the pool steps on the balcony, and someone throws the balls to me, and I have to either catch the ball, hit it with my tennis racket, or hit it with my hand! It is really good fun, and I am getting really good at it! When I played it with Grandma, I hit 2 balls over our fence to next door! Oops!

Clara: Wheeeeeh! *burp* Ahhhhh....

C: It was wonderful having a girl! I was so happy, and we had so many good wishes from everyone! Thank you! Clara's face was completely bruised since the delivery took 15 minutes! She was born 8lb 4.5oz (3.7kg), which was so much heavier than Aiysha's 6lb 7oz. She was born at 10.30 on Valentine's Day, so we're not going to forget her birthday!

S: Well, we thought we'd bring less into the delivery room this time, but failed! As Claire was induced, I decided to move my whole computer in so we could watch DVD's! Unfortunately, after 1 DVD, we were told not to use it, as it had to be cleared by engineering! Typical! What a waste of energy. Hurt my nect diving off the 3 meter diving board, but the 15m board was fine! Scary though! Hadn't done such high dives since Hinkley Leisure Centre!

2007-01-31 My First Day At School

A: I had my first day at school, and I looked so grown up! Our normal teacher wasn't there, but I was still really brave, and met some nice friends. Some I knew from Little Muppets, some I just met!

2007-01-26 Our Second Australia Day!

A: This was our second Australia Day, and Daddy didn't have to go to work! It was a really hot weekend! Grandma and Grandpa just came back from Dwellingup where they spent the week, and we all had dinner in the frog house. We then set off at about 7.30 to Matilda Bay - it was not as crowded as last year, and I splashed around in the water for a while. I tried to get to the pier, but it was a little too cold for me. We sat down next to a tree, and then waited. The fireworks were the best Mummy and Daddy and I had ever seen, and we could hear the music too! I had a pink light wand which I waved around too!

I also got my first certificate in the big class - I now have an armband, and I am practicing breathing while I am doing front crawl! I am so excited about swimming!

2007-01-21 Auntie Lizzie!

A: I had so much fun with Auntie Lizzie! Thank you so much for coming! Last weekend we went to Mullaloo beach twice, and the weather was lovely! Although the waves were not too high, we still had a great time surfing, and swimming!

I was so sad to see Auntie Lizzie go. So were Mummy, Grandma and Grandpa.

I hope Auntie Lizzie will be able to post a blog here - it would be great to have someone else writing in this blog so I can read it!
