2012-08-30 Fathers Day at School!

Clara: Daddy came in to school for a Fathers Day evening, and I read him what I wrote about him in front of everyone, then I got to eat pizza with him and shave him! It was fun.

2012-08-27 I Won Another Gym Comp! Daddy Helper and Fathers Day!

Aiysha: I can't believe it! I won another comp! Lauren wanted to come and watch me after we won at netball, so she was dropped off at our on Sunday, and came down to watch me compete at the Judges Invitational. It was so exciting having her there.

I started on Vault, which went okay, but my bars went really well. Mummy and Daddy thought I'd missed something out because it went so quick! My beam I did a couple of big wobbles and my front sault dismount I took a step back, and in my floor I felt I did really well. In the end, I got placed on all - 6th, 1st, 5th, 1st, which meant I was 1st overall! I was so happy, and so happy Lauren and Roxy was there to support me. Lauren even took a video of me on the podium!

After, we went out to Hillarys to Grill'd burgers, which was really nice, and then we had a Cold Rock ice cream. We got back pretty late after dropping Lauren off. It was a good day.

Clara: Daddy came in on Monday to do Daddy Helper, and it was so much fun! He did messed about with everyone, marked writing by all of us, danced with us, played with us at recess, and sat at our table for fruit time.

He then came along to Fathers Day Evening on Thursday where we read a book we wrote about our Dads out loud, and we had pizza, got to shave our dads, did puzzles and combed their hair. It was really funny, and I loved it.

On Sunday it was Fathers Day, and Aiysha and I prepared some presents with Mummy the night before, and gave them to Daddy in the morning. He loved them all, and he then made pancakes for us which were yummy! We then went to Caversham Wildlife Park where we fed kangaroos (even one with a baby in her pouch!), touched wombats, possums and held a snake! It was funny, and we even got an ice cream. I brought a notebook along and wrote down the names of all the animals I saw.

After, we went home to relax, and then went out for dinner at Lava Grill, where we cooked our own dinner on lava hot stones - it was cool, and I loved my fish and chips. Aiysha had steak, and Mummy and Daddy loved cooking their seafood on the hot stone. We played Uno too, and Daddy won two games!

S: Amazing Fathers Day! Even got to play Temple Run! I loved the possum when it wrapped it's tail around my finger...
