2013-06-14 West Coast Fever, City Beach in Winter & Treasure Hunt!

Aiysha: Moved up a division in our netball which is great. Won last week by 6 points, but was a very good team.

Excited about my birthday! Everyone can come!

Went on Sunday to watch West Coast Fever netball team at Challenge Stadium - it was excellent, even though West Coast got smashed by Queensland Firebirds. We then went to City Beach for lunch at Clancy's - lovely food, but a little rainy when we went to play in the park. Mummy and Daddy walked on the pier - very brave! We then stopped off at Trigg for desert - yummy!

Went with the choir to Burswood to sing at the Principles Conference. That was pretty cool, and we were the only choir there!

Clara: I am sooo excited about my new bunny, we get to see it tomorrow - can't wait!

I decided I wanted to do the Christmas Dance, so that means I will need to do an extra class in term 4 - cool!

Last weekend Mummy and I did a challenge. We picked a place on the map in town, then we had to get there without using a car! It was so much fun - we walked to the station, took the train to the City, and took the ferry to West Perth. Unfortunately, the Mill House was closed, but it was so much fun getting there we didn't mind. We went to have some lunch at a restaurant, then headed home. We got back pretty late, but pretty exhausted. What a funny day!

Watched Nemo again - I laughed so much.

2013-06-02 Interschool Carnival, Climbing

Aiysha: We had our interschool carnival this week, and I was running in all 8 events! I was so excited, and most excited about running in the Grand Relay with Roxy!

Unfortunately, it was the worst possible day for weather we have had in months. It was really windy, rainy and cold! We started with the 200m, and it was still raining and the ground was really wet. I tried my hardest, and managed to come 4th, but I was so cold and I also hurt my achilles.

In the end, they called it off at around 10.30, which was a relief. We went back home, warmed up and headed back to school.

Daddy took us climbing again, which was great fun. We all went for a walk near Cockman House - really funny - sang songs, kicked rocks, Roxy collected rocks, and we played some Harry Potter games.

Oranges won TBL. Just beat the Greens.

Clara: We're getting a bunny! I am sooooooo excited. We got him an amazing hutch, and carry basket, and he is going to be the most special bunny ever! Here are some amazing pictures just after it was born!

The weather for the interschool was sooooo cold! We only had shorts on, and the rain was coming right into our tent, and none of us could keep warm. Some kids were crying they were so cold.

I had my 60m race though in Division 1, and I won it! I was the only Edgewater student to win a race Mummy and Daddy said.

I was so cold I did not feel like I could go back to school, so I stayed at home. Apparently we have to do all the races again when the carnival is done again in term 4. I hope I run just as well!

Daddy took us climbing on Sunday, but I got a few blisters. Me and Daddy played soccer on our lawn and catching - I laughed soooo much!

C: Brrrrrr, English weather! Horrible! Went to see the Great Gatsby with my friends on Sunday morning! Really enjoyed!

S: Not nice.

2013-05-20 Warrior Dash & Ovo

Aiysha: Daddy wasn't able to make it to my netball, but it was okay because we won 52-8, and we only had 7 players!

On Sunday, we went to see the Cirque Du Soleil 'Ovo', which was amazing! They had some amazing artists, and the trampoline was amazing.

Clara: I was a little scared of going to see 'Ovo', but I found it funny, and they did some great things.

I had my assembly, and I dressed up as a wombat - I looked awesome!

C: It was a beautiful weekend, and the circus was great. Lovely walking there in the sunshine.

S: The Warrior Dash was so funny! 5km of obstacles, and 6 of us did it - Ryan, Sam, Ray, Will and Cam. There were hay bails, trenches, and mud pools. Ryan and I had a bit of a tussle in a mud pool and I ended up cutting up my leg - funny though. We did it in 38 minutes or so, but could have been a lot quicker. We got given t-shirts, cups, and a Worthog helmet!

2013-05-13 Mother's Day!

Aiysha: Its all cars at the moment. Because of Daddy's crash, we decided to trade our Smartie in to get an silver i20 Hyundai, which was a nice Mother's Day present. We then treated Mummy to the The Cheese Barrel in the Swan Valley - Mummy had never heard of it too, so it was a great surprise for her. We had cheese after we walked around their fields and looked at their machinery. It was a lovely place. On the way back, we went to see Illusionary Art, a place where the artist carved his 3D paintings in steel. It was pretty amazing. Daddy got talking to him, which was interesting.

In netball we won 25-18 which was a really close game - Hannah and I did some really long shots, 1st quarter leading 6-1, the 3rd quarter was tough, only 7 players. I think the next time we play them it will be a lot closer.

Daddy and I decided to tidy the wood pile, and made a metal box for all the wood. Daddy did a lot of the work, and I helped him choose the equipment at Bunnings. Grandpa Arthur would be proud.

Clara: There were some amazing rain storms here! I was sad to see our old red car go, but I love the new car. Mummy had a lovely day, and we got her some flowers, and both Aiysha and I did some artwork on our presents to her.

C: I loved the Cheese Barrel - so special!

S: Great netball game! Well done Paish!

2013-05-05 Netball Season Starts!

Clara: Lauren came over to show us Chloe's haircut! It was so sweet! She ended up staying the whole afternoon and made Honey Joys with Aiysha!

I surprised Daddy and had a sleepover at Matilda's - it was so much fun! I loved it, and was not scared at all! Was a bit tired the next day and fell asleep in the car though.

We are learning about money this week!

My dancing is going well - I love it, and I love putting on my tap shoes. Apparently I will need to do more classes before my show - can't wait!

Aiysha: Our first game of netball. It was a grading game, and I am playing GS and GA this year. We won our game 33-8, and I got player of week even though everyone played well. It was a great start.

We had a bit of a lazy weekend, and played Scrabble and Monopoly.

Mummy, Clara and I also painted pool fence while Daddy was at work.

We watched Moonrise Kingdom which was a bit strange, but funny.

There were some some wicked hail storms - huge bits of hail!

C: I love netball season! It is full of gossip!

2013-04-30 Mummy's Birthday & York!

Aiysha: What a funny birthday! We went to York to stay in an environmentally friendly house called Twilight Brae. It was lovely! We were in a house right in the middle of the field, there were no rooms, just one big house. Clara and I slept on one side of the house, and Mummy and Daddy slept the other side of the house. There was loads to explore around the house, horses nearby, and we went on trips around to Clackline. We went for a walk along Clackline railway, went to a swingbridge near York, went to York centre and had a lovely lunch there. We tried to go for archery, but it was closed.

At night, it was pretty spooky, and we had barbecues outside in the dark, and we could see some amazing stars. We played games at night, and got to bed pretty late.

Unfortunately, I fell out of my bed on the second night, and really bruised my face, and got a black eye.

Clara: I loved exploring around our house. We came across an bull ant nest, and they all came out - was pretty scary, as they were huge!

C: I loved the house! It was an amazing time away. It was a lovely birthday present, as well as my iPad - the girls liked that!

S: Worlds strongest mushrooms. Tough uphill running in the mornings!

2013-04-25 Lauren Sleepover, Beau and Ben, Car Accident!

Aiysha: Wow, what a week for the school holidays! Lauren came over for a sleep over, we met Beau and Ben at Kings Park, and we did loads of stuff in between!

We also went to Adam's naming party at Emerald Park, which was funny, especially Adam!

Daddy was in a bad car accident - the man behind wrote his car off against our captiva on the mitchell. Lucky that our car was pretty strong, and it was okay. Also lucky no one got hurt.

Clara: I love Lauren when she has a sleep over. We played loads of games, and stayed up late!

S: Bit of a close call with the car.

2013-04-22 Tooth Fairy and Climbing

Aiysha: We tried to persuade Mummy that we were going to get noodles, but in fact we were searching for her present - she almost caught me when I moved it out of the car, but I disguised it well, I think. Actually, I think she knows.

We are now in school holidays! I love school holidays! Free time, relaxing, friends over, fun!

I was in the choir for the ANZAC festival, and I was asked to do a small group song, which was very nerve wracking!

Climbing was so much fun - we had the whole place to ourselves, and I did some of the hardest walls! I did pretty much all the greens, but then went on to the browns, which was really hard!

Clara: I have lost 2 teeth in 2 weeks, and 2 different fairies came! I got $5 each, one note, and one with coins, which was sooooo nice! The second tooth got knocked out by Daddy when I bit his button. It did bleed a little, but I was brave.

I was also asked to be flower girl for the ANZAC ceremony at school, which was very special. I said no to start with as I was really shy, but then Mrs Todd asked me again, and I was so happy!

I loved the climbing wall, and we had the whole wall to ourselves. It was so much fun, and I never gave up!

C: Roxy is growing up! Hmmmm, and they are up to something...
