2014-08-09 My First Gym Comp Since My Leg + Netball!

Aiysha: I have had the best week! I've been looking forward to this for long, and it finally arrived - my first gym comp since my broken ankle!

I have trained so hard for this, and was so excited to be able to compete. I was competing in Level 5, which is the same one as I did last year, but I was determined to get through it the best as I could. Zoe came down to watch, which was really nice.

My beam was first, and I was shaking, and I could even feel the beam shaking. Daddy told me to take deep breaths, so I did. I was so surprised at what I did - it was the best beam, routine I have ever done! I got 13.8! We then went onto floor, and I made a few simple mistakes, but the big moves like my punch-sault and back flips to backsault went really well. I got 13.2 for that. My vault was pretty good - I got 13.5, and for my bars I got 13.8. I was sooo happy! When they did the awards, I could not believe it! I got first on bars, beam and vault, and 3rd on floor! I actually came first overall!

I was so please, and so happy after everything that has happened over the last 18 months. I could not help smiling.

On Saturday, we also had a great game of netball - everyone played well and we won 42-24 - we were very aggressive in defense and we attached really well too! We haven't won many games this season due to people being away, but this was a lovely game to win.

I was invited to Casey's house for a sleepover for her birthday - I can't wait!

Clara: I was so proud of Aiysha! She did so well! I also learnt how to created animated powerpoint presentations - it was so much fun! I did my first slideshow about my new company Innovision IT!

C: Amazing Paish! Well done, we are so proud of you!

S: Wahoo! What a week!

2014-06-28 My Birthday Party, But Not The Real One...

Aiysha: I was a little bit sad that I was not able to have my real party because of my gladular fever. I really was not well after netball, but didn't think it was that bad until the following week.

We actually call it Michael Angelo fever now, and blame him for everything!

Mummy, Daddy and Roxy did take me to C restaurant though, which was pretty cool for hi-tea. We sat in a really posh restaurant at the top of a building in the city, and ate lovely cakes and sandwiches while the room rotated around so we could see the whole of Perth. Pretty cool.

After, we went to get a takeaway from Daddy's Northbridge Chinese place - duck, pork and chicken! Lovely!

We also went to Trigg Beach for a small outing, which was lovely.

It was a nice birthday in the end, but look forward to my real one at bounce!

Clara: I've been playing hockey with Daddy, even indoors - it is really funny!

C: Brrrrr, cold and wet winter!

S: He he, can't wait to go back to UK to get some warmth!
