2015-02-09 First Week of School!

Aiysha: Mum spotted me rolling my skirt up a little - doh! Why are they so long!? It's been fun back at school, but Casey is not in any of my classes, so that is really disappointing.

We had netball registration, and we even got some awesome uniforms! I am really looking forward to the season - I'm going to be playing for a club!

Scary thunderstorms all week - Clara and I sometimes sat outside to listen to the thunder and lightening - it was amazing! There were some pretty crazy fires around Perth too that we could even see around our house!

Grace came over and we went to the beach and did some awesome body boarding! We also went to the beach with Millie! I was so excited I don't think I got packed up quicker! It was fun!

Clara: I came first out of the whole class in our races today for inter-school! I was pretty proud. I also had a funny Mandarin lesson where our teacher said Aiysha was one of his best students! No Way!

The first week has been great - I really like our teacher Mrs Rubidge. She gives us interesting assignments like writing about our opinions about things.

We're playing ALOT of Harry Potter Top Trumps at the moment - really funny when Mummy and Daddy play, but Daddy is also really annoying trying to get extra points everytime he is losing! Naughty!

I have been Skyping Matilda over the last few weeks as she is now in Adelaide - it has been really fun, and we told each other about our new classes and schools! I think I'm going to miss Tilly a lot!

C: Yummy junk collection! Finally, we get rid of that table!

2015-01-28 Sleepovers, Observatory and Australia Day!

Clara: I loved these school holidays! I went for a last sleep over at Matilda's before she goes to Adelaide. It was nice, watched Scooby Doo. I also went to The Great Escape with Georgia, which was pretty fun. I also had Aiva round for a play. Wow, loads of fun!

The stars were amazing, but it was really late when we got home and I fell asleep in the car on the way home.

I've played loads of tennis this holiday, and Daddy and I have had some great rallys! We also got a new bat and ball set for the beach.

We went down to Trigg one day, and played loads of bat and ball there.

Went to Lansdale Farm Park with Aiva - it was sooo cool holding all the animals and going for pony rides!

Aiysha: Went to The Great Escape with Megan, which was pretty good fun. We also went to San Churros for Paish's Secret Santa from Megan - yum!

I also got some Krispy Kreme's for Dad to see if he liked them - and guess what? He did!

I also went for a sleep over at Casey's, and watched Dumb and Dumber with our pizzas. We've had lots of sleepovers together this holiday!

I am so sad that I'm not in any classes with her next year :-(

Last Sunday we went to the Perth Observatory late at night to watch the stars. It was pretty amazing looking through the telescopes, but Dad and I thought there was a little too much talking, and not enough looking.

Mummy was funny though - she couldn't stop laughing when a boy asked the guide if he "would be able to see Uranus". She is soooo immature!

We are listening to "The Girl With All The Gifts" audio book - it is amazing, and a bit scary too! None of us can wait to go on a long trip to listen to more of it.


C: Finally getting rid of our Ikea shelves in junk collection, and a load of other stuff! Arthur would be proud!

We finally fixed the tap that has been leaking for months!

S: Played mixed basketball last week, and managed to twist my ankle so badly that after a week and a half it was still swollen, so Paish took me to the doctors and for an x-ray too. Luckily it isn't fractured, so hope it gets better soon! I miss my running!

Bit of a struggle going to the beach when we met the Shepherds and Watsons - saw some dolphins there too - perfect for Australia Day!

Just when I am getting on top of my wind surfing I do my ankle! Arggghh!

2014-01-08 Sleepover Crazy, Dolphins and Tooth

Aiysha: Happy New Year everybody! We went camping at Mundering Wier, and Roxy and I had our own tent! Although I don't particularly like camping that much, like Mummy, it was actually pretty good fun. We went for a walk to the dam, made a lovely barbecue dinner and ate in the dark, and played games in the night. Mummy thought our tent would blow away because it was a bit windy - she really isn't a camper!

Kiera came for a sleepover, and we also had a night time swim! And we swam all afternoon. It was fun.

Clara: Not another tooth! I got $4 from the tooth fairy this time, which was less than what Smokey got! Darn that wabbit!

Matilda came over for her last sleepover before she moves to Adelaide with her family. It was lovely to see her, and we had a night time swim and watched Narnia.

Aliyah came over for a sleepover a few days ago too, and we played twister, rolled the prediction dice and also did a lot of swimming. It was so funny having her around, and we played lots of games.

I love playing tennis with my new racket, and Daddy thinks we will be using just 3 balls very soon when we go to play - that would be amazing! I'm also learning how to serve! I can't wait to play a real game!


C: Still doing odd jobs around the house, but lovely to be on holiday! I'm enjoying investigating our Vietnam trip next year - exciting!

S: I went windsurfing yesterday, and there was no wind. While I was waiting for the wind to come in, two dolphins came into the bay in the river, and I walked out to them. They swam literally 2 metres away from me! It was pretty amazing.

2014-12-30 Triple Sleepover, Vege Patch and Beach!

Clara: Aiysha and I had such a fun couple of days! Firstly, Casey came round for a sleepover, we went in the pool, went to play tennis which was really funny as Casey hadn't played before but was really good, and then we went back to make spring rolls which were yummy!

Aiysha then went with Casey to Hillary's Great Escape, then went for a sleepover at Casey's! We're off camping tomorrow, so that will be three sleepovers in a row!

I went to the beach with Mummy and Daddy, and Daddy and I did 34 bat and ball hits! We also caught some big waves on our body boards.

I went for a sleepover at Matilda's - probably the last one before she leaves to Adelaide - I am sad she is going, she is one of my best friends :-(

Aiysha: It was super cool having Casey around over the last couple of days - she is so funny, and doesn't mind what we do when she visits - even playing tennis and making dinner! Funny!

C: Yummy spring rolls!

S: We tried to go to the cinema, but just tooo far! Stayed in in the end...
