2015-03-21 Bye Duyen and MJ, Dance Viewing

Aiysha: MJ is sooo cute! Hope to see here more next time she is around!

Clara: Had mu viewing at dancing this weekend - I was a bit nervous, but it was fun and exhausting! Still practicing for interschool!

Went for a sleepover at Georgia H's, played spotlight, had pancakes, got to bed earlier than the others, saw a snake, and their dog followed me around all the time! I loved it! It was fun!

C: Loved the viewing for dancing! Very impressed!

S: Go Roxy!

2015-03-17 GM + GD, State Qualification #1

S: We did loads of when Grandad Brian and Grandma Sik came along. Unfortunately lost Grandad's valuable red book perhaps on the plane, but we did all we could to find it and cancel cards.

Went to Mullaloo beach and had a few swims in our pool playing catchy to start with, then went up to Port Denison like last year, and managed to see 4 sunsets in a row. Each day we had an excursion up and down the coast to secluded beaches, and one to Geraldton. We had a couple of games of scrabble, and we watched some cool movies at night while we were there.

I managed to start some longer runs on my ankle, which was great, and managed a 36 minute beautiful morning run along South Beach, which will be unforgettable how nice it was. We managed to miss the cyclone too which was coming down from the north.

When we came back we went for several coffees at Yelo cafe - lovely muffins and the best coffee! We also managed to catch a Western Force game vs the Rebels - unfortunately some crazy decisions early on cost them the game. What a shame.

Aiysha: I was a little frustrated with my comp, and know I can do so much better. Bars I was so disappointed with, but I hope I can concentrate on them before the next comp. I still placed on a few things, but know I can do so much better.

Clara: I loved calling Daddy on the phone while he was away, and we went to play tennis when he came back and practice for interschool. It was fun.

C: I missed the doodis!

Smokey: I didn't!

2015-03-01 My Party, Finally!

Clara: I got the first merit certificate of the year from Mrs Rubidge - I was so proud! I also finally had my party - I was not well the day before, but I was fine for my horse riding, and we managed to get into the pool aswell. Georgia H and Aaliyah came along, and it was so much fun. We even got to lead the horses back to their paddock! I had a great birthday party, even though it was a few weeks late :-)

I also got selected for Interschool sprints, long throw and long jump, as well as leader ball and pass ball. Wow, I'm going to be pretty tired! I'm going to have to practice hard!

Aiysha: Had my second round of netball trials, and I was so proud of how I played. Playing against 15 year olds, and I think I had the best game I ever played! It was so much fun! I can't wait to start the season - my whole team seems so good!

We had our faction swimming carnival at Mater Dei, and I came second in my crawl and in the relay, but I got chosen for Interschool! That's pretty cool.

C: How come Steve can trot so well!? I'm jealous!

S: My trotting was the best!

Smokey: Those horses aren't as cute as me!

2015-02-22 Netball trials, High Flyers Party, Sleepover, Talent Squad

Smokey: I love the dog pound!

Clara: For my dancing I finally managed to show off my round-off backflip - I was so proud.

We finally received our gym mat that was a present from Grandma Sue and Grandpa Arthur.

I started my first netball training with Aaliyah - a bit crazy, and I was not use to the nets being so low!

Went to a High Flyers party for Amelie's birthday party - it was fun!

We took Aiysha down to Challenge Stadium again for some gymnastics thing. We spent the afternoon on City beach, which was fun! We had dinner there and everything!

Aiysha: Netball trials pt 1. - wow, the standard is so much better than Edgewater PS. I'm gonna have to step up my game! We had a sleep over for all gym girls at Emma's, which was pretty cool fun!

The judges were practicing their judging, so we went down to practice our routines for them, which was good practice. I felt I did okay, and getting better for my comps.

C: Iluka walk - saw dolphins, Clara was on her scooter, Paish was tired, it was windy, and we stood on the rocks at Burns Beach - lovely!

S: Running on my ankle for first time - not that great, clicking and still pretty painful. Night out with DoT at Botanica, which was great to see everyone.

2015-02-14 I am 8! The Giants in Perth!

Clara: I was so sad I was sick for my birthday. I had to cancel my horse riding and I was really looking forward to it!

I got to open loads of presents though - I got some rabbit statues, an origami book from Uncool Dave, and picture frames of my dancing concert! we're going a bit concert crazy, watching last years concert too! It is fun, especially when we put the tiny dancers on and they annoy Daddy.

We also went into town to see The Giants - apparently they was going to be a giant girl and a giant diver. I saw pictures of them before, but did not believe they were going to be that amazing! They spent the weekend in Perth at different places, but we went to Langley Park on their last stop before they got on a barge to leave. Aiysha and Mummy couldn't stay as Aiysha had talent squad - Mummy was sad. We got loads of pictures though. We managed to lose a drink bottle as we were being deafened by the music - ah well. I had loads of fun with Daddy, but he almost lost me at one point!

Aiysha: I saw The Giants from a distance, and was a bit sad to leave - it was really hot!

C: I wish I could have stayed - it looked amazing!

S: The Giants were amazing! Unforgettable.
