2017-06-28 I am 15!

Aiysha: I can't believe I am 15! I have been so happy over the last couple of days, and I have had an awesome birthday, even though I had to go to school. Casey and Vio came back home this afternoon, and we had ice-cream cake, fruit, and just a bit of junk food!

Thank you everyone for all your kind presents! NZ is going to be a blast!

Last weekend we played Woola Woola, and we almost came back to win, but unfortunately we didn't quite get there. I only played half the game which I was disappointed with, but I did play WA!

Daddy took us for his first rugby coaching session last nigh - it was fun! Quite hard, quite physical, and we got a lot done. He even made the girls who were late do laps - meany!

Last Friday I had to miss our rugby tournament as I had Warriors trials - I was so disappointed to miss it, and they won a game! Well done girls!

On Monday night I went with Dad to see Wonder Woman after the gym - it wasn't bad at all!

Clara: We played Hammersley last Saturday who beat us by 16 points last time we played them - it was a tough game, and we didn't expect to get close to them, but we were ahead in each quarter, and in the end we beat them by 6! It was amazing! They were a bit rough, but that was definitely the best game of the season so far!

We got signed photos of West Coast Warriors tonight - so exciting!

I went to Gold Class to see Despicable Me 3! Mummy and I didn't feel too good - maybe because we sat at the front of the screen!

C: Amazing game Clara, and Happy Birthday Paish!

S: Happy Birthday Paish, have an awesome day!

2017-06-18 Convertible, Paua Rose, Wonderful Winter! New Bike Routes!

Clara: We played Paua Rose at netball, and we expected it was going to be a touch match, but in the end, we played the best we ever played, beating them 41-9. We even played the last quarter completely out of position! It was fun, and I loved it! After dancing, I went to Jaia's to play too! What a day!

We have been on a couple of amazing bike rides along the river over the past couple of week - it almost seems like we are on holiday! We also went to Yanchep and watched helicopters take off and land! Funny!

We had our assembly last week - it was just a really funny play - we were magic imps causing trouble for princesses, wrestlers and knights!

Each week after PEAC Daddy takes me to Yello to have coffee, cake and a milkshake, and we watch the sea - it is a lovely end to a day!

Aiysha: We didn't quite have the same kind of game as Rox - we were up by 9 at half-time, but then proceeded to throw the game away - in the end we lost by 3, and it was one of the most frustrating games I have ever played!

Dad and I watched Scotland beat Australia at rugby, which was a real upset, and then I went to Liam's 18th birthday party after Asha's get-together. It was fun, but didn't get to sleep until 4am.

I then had to get up and go to rugby as Dad was taking it. It ended up being really good as we concentrated on the basics - looking, supporting, communicating, and I look forward to playing on Friday!

Pst...I have my first car car sitting in our garage - it's a Holden Astra convertible! Only another year until I can drive it though!

C: The winter so far is amazing! So much sun! It doesn't feel like winter at all until night time when it gets pretty chilly!

S: I can't believe Aiysha lost and Australia lost!

I do like Yelo though in this beautiful weather!

2017-06-12 Division 1, Pirates Day, Lions go to NZ!

Aiysha: Last week we beat Hammersley - we came back from 7 goals down after the 1st quarter to win by 7! It was so fun!

The Lions have started their tour. We finally managed to go to Matt's to watch the game, even though he was not interested. After losing to the Blues mid-week, they beat the Crusaders in an amazing game - low score, but so exhausting!

Daddy and I went to watch the Hurricanes a couple of weeks back - we went to the gym for ages, then had the perfect meal at Shanghai Tea House, then watched the Hurricanes smash the Force - it was fun nevertheless!

Clara: We played our other West Coasters team - we were a bit worries about playing them, but in the end we beat them 27-12, which was fairly convincing!

We've been giving each other massages at night, and they are so painful, especially the calf ones.

It was pirates day at school with a gold coin donation - funny! Aiva won best pirate!

C: The weather has been amazing this winter so far! We've done so many speed walks around the lake too!

S: So exciting watching the Lions again!

2017-05-22 Pupil Free Day + First Fire Of Winter! Poor Smokes :-(

Aiysha: Really rainy weekend. Beat Paua Rose

Western Force vs Highlanders 55-6. We had a lovely dinner though at the Shanghai Tea house after we went to the gym at Daddy's old workplace!

Mookey not doing too well.

Clara: Only just beat Paua Rose

Pupil free day - Skype Uncle Dave, Rode from Hillays to Yelo Cafe for muffins, coffee and milkshake.

Swimming week.

Smokey doing okay this week.

C: Brrr! Poor Smokes! We are so sad for him - his parasite has made him really ill, and his head is tilted to one side - we are all so worried for him! I do hope he bounces back.

S: So sad for Smokey :-(

Smokey: Poor me :-(

2017-05-07 What a week! Rugby, Netball, and night out!

Aiysha: We played our first Rugby 7s at Joondalup - we actually got the date wrong, so some of our team could not make it. We won one game that I played in, and I scored a length of the pitch try! I was so much fun, but such a shame we strucggled for players!

Netball vs Ta Nui which was fun - we lost, but it was great experience! We also had the Mater Dei Carnival - my back was not great, but luckily it did not get any worse. I ran my race, and was pretty disappointed, but glad that I ran.

Watched states gymnastics while Mum and Dad went to the cinema.

Beach - a bit smelly and a bit cold!

I cleaned my room! Let's celebrate!

Clara: Netball vs Yanchep - Aaliyah, saw Matt, Conrad / Naomi

Claire's birthday party.

The water was lovely and we all went in apart from Aiysha who was a little tired.

C: Saw a baby dugite at Mullaloo today - scary stuff! We had a lovely Vietnamese in Leederville before our scary movie "Get Out".

Someone hoovered the whole house - guess who?

S: Amazing being at the beach! Got caught in a rip though, which was a little scary as my knee was injured.

Watched first episode of Walking Dead season 7. Wowzer...not going to forget that in a hurry...

2017-04-30 Relay For Life, Netball Season Starts & Last Viva's

Aiysha: Our netball season started this weekend! First game against Hammersley.

Last Friday of Viva's, but we have our 7's to look forward to!

Western Force lost to Lions - we could have played at half time.

Clara: First game against Genesis

We cycled round the lake to find a soft serve! Went to Rotary Park first - no van!

C: Amazing effort Paish for the Relay and Netball! Well done! Great play Clara on your first game!

S: Awesome stuff guys at netball, and amazing Relay for Life!

2017-04-27 Mummy's Birthday & Double Movie

Aiysha: Happy Birthday Mummy! We took Mummy to lunch in the Swan Valley - it was so nice!

I went with Sean for lunch lunch and a kick around - cool!

Daddy and Mummy went to see Life, and Roxy and I went to see Dance Academy - how cool is that!

I went with Mum for a night time bike ride! Scary stuff!

Clara: Happy Birthday Mummy - it was a lovely day we had! Thank you!

I went for a 6k run with Dad, but he hurt his knee badly for some strange reason. I also performed my dance solo, but the judging was a bit strange Mummy and Daddy felt.

A couple of weeks back we went to a festival in Joondalup where they had sculptures controlled by people, and loads of performers! The best part were the doughnuts!

C: I love Swan Valley! I also love food festivals like the one we went to in town, but it was too crowded! Boo!

S: Oooo, nice lunch!

2017-04-17 School Holidays, Bunker Bay, Western Farce!

We've just come back from an awesome time in Bunker Bay! We stayed for the second time at Pullman's Resort at discounted rates, and it was so much fun! Our itinerary was as follows:

Sunday: Arrive in the evening and cook dinner.

Monday: Sleep in, bush walk at Wyadup, and then swim at the beach. I had an incident at the beach where I got dragged out by a rip - I was not happy! Lunch at Rivendell where they refused to accept our Entertainment Card - what the!

Tuesday: 5k beach run with Clara and Dad - it was so hot, and my trainers were soaked. Picnic at Yallingup and watched the surfers in the huge waves! Then went horse riding! What a surprise!

Wednesday: Went to a reptile farm where we watched a chick called Steve get eaten by a python! Wowzer! Went to Canal Rocks and then Sugarloaf Rock - did a load of rock climbing which was so much fun! Decided not to go canoeing! Ended up at Simmos Ice Creamery - yummy! Night time walk - amazing!

Thursday: Sprint training in the morning, swim, pack up and left by 12pm. Arrived home via Miami Bakehouse. Love those pies and doughnuts!

Aiysha: On Sunday we got to play at half-time at the Western Force game - it was fun, but way too short! It was an amazing game though against the Kings - 46-41, with 11 tries - amazing! The Force maybe dropped as the Super 18 tournament is being cut to Super 15 again - it is between them and the Rebels apparently, but the Force are one of the strongest teams in the comp, so will be interesting - they are already looking to take the ARU to court! What a farce!

I didn't like trotting at all!

I loved the evening where we helped make dinner and chatted loads and relaxed!

I love the school holidays!

Clara: Daddy's horse was called Wookie, and he did the longest pop-off ever! It went on forever! Mummy's was called Bonnie, Aiysha's was called Apollo, and mine was called Indy! We got to feed the horses after. Trotting was funny!

The holiday was so much fun, and we had loads of laughs!

C: Wookie! What the!

S: What a funny holiday!
