2018-03-05 PEAC, Long Weekend, Westcoasters Teams, Rugby Starts!

Aiysha: This week I went to Wests to see what their rugby team was like - I was surprised to see Natalie and Nga there, and it looks like it might be a good team. It was a conditioning session though, and my arms were dead by the end!

It was the long weekend, and I thought I was going to work all 3 days, but our scheduled rugby game against Neddies was cancelled - they pulled out. In the end I spent time with Sean.

I found out I was in Team A for U18 - phew! I was so nervous, and the team looks great! Really happy about the coach too!

I had a 'gavo' on Sunday night - a sleepover - lots of cool people were going as we all were not invited to another 'gavo', so we arranged our own - it was funny!

Clara: I was in Team A too! I was soooo happy! I started PEAC this week, and was a little late as they started 15 minutes earlier at Yuluma than before. I am doing CSI, and it is really interesting!

It is a long weekend, and I decorated my room by putting up my dancing pictures with Mummy and Daddy. We took Smokey for a checkup and he was mostly fine. We then took him to Aloha Surfhouse where we had a look around - it looked sooo cool, and there were lots of people surfing!

I spent the day on Friday with Daddy and the Burning Fruit gang - it was fun. We also took Aiysha's car in to recharge the battery - I like Aiysha's car! We checked out the new Altitude trampoline park that is being built next to Edgewater Train station - it looks great!

C: Well done girls getting into the A teams - awesome!

S: Amazing performance girls - can't wait for the season to start! Stephen Botchjob appeared this weekend when putting up pictures - doh!

I am coaching the U11 Team A - should be fun!

I found out I won the WBA selfie sticker comp - I took my pictures underwater! Funny!

I did a presentation for Venue Maestro on Wednesday - I only found out at 8.46pm I was doing a presentation! It went down well.

2018-02-25 My 11th Party!

Clara: I had such an awesome party this weekend! We couldn't have it last weekend as Aiysha had her netball trials. I had dancing on Saturday, and when I came back the house was all decorated with streamers and balloons! It was cool. While I waited for my friends, I did more decorating out the front.

When Aaliyah, Jazmine and Matilda turned up, we went into the pool, opened presents, and had a BBQ. Daddy went to pick Aiysha up and when they came back we ate and had our birthday cake. We then played catch in the dark which was really funny. We watched some Harry Potter for a bit, but then went to the games room to do stuff. We were up really late unfortunately, but it was funny!

We set off to Mandurah at around 10.30, and got to All 4 Fun Aquapark around 12, and went in straight away. It was sooooo much fun! There were lots of inflatables to play on, and even the ones where you could launch people off the end! Daddy and Aiysha got lots of videos on the go-pro so have a watch!

Aiysha: I had netball trials this week, and I trialed for WA. However, I did ask to go GA and shot pretty well - I hope I get in!

Casey invited me to stay at The Scarborough Observation Resort as it was her parents anniversary. I could only stay for a little while, and then Daddy picked me up for Clara's birthday.

C: It was such a fun party! And we didn't need to do anything else!

S: Possibly the best and most relaxing party yet! Great choice Rox!

Finally finished the mega-hard jigsaw - we lost a piece! Doh!

2018-02-18 States, Mango Season Again, and Clara's Birthday!

Clara: It was my birthday this week, and we went up to Iluka for a BBQ at night time! We say Jacinta there, as it was Valentines Day, and Daddy made me a mango milkshake!

We joined Aiysha and Daddy on the Saturday after my dancing - it was such a short stay - it was a micro break! It was fun though, I just wish we could stay longer.

Spent another day with Daddy - we drove to Fremantle for meeting, then went for dim sum! Yummy! We had fun!

Aiysha: It was our states comp from the 9th to 11th, and it was really fun! Daddy and I drove down on the Thursday night after our last training session to stay at our Stayz accommodation - just a short walk to the beach! We decided to go for a swim on the first morning before Daddy's meeting about a new website at Business Station, and then we went shopping for our lunch before heading off to our first game. Daddy didn't make it with his knee in the end, so just had to support and watch - what a shame!

We had some tough games to start with and didn't do too well. I still enjoyed it though! Our main rivals were Giants, and I really wanted to beat them. We played them on Saturday, and managed to beat them 3-1 and I even scored a try against them! It was great, and was really happy. We played them in the 5th-6th place playoffs too, and it was a really high scoring game! We were up by a few, then lost the lead, and were down by about 2-3 tries, and then we came back to win it. It was sooo exciting, and frustrating making simple mistakes. It was great to win it in the end though. For a new side, we did pretty well.

Happy birthday little sister! Love you!

S: Our 40's team did very well getting to the semi's! The best game was the first against Northern where we only lost 5-2, which was amazing considering the team we were playing. We played them in the semis, and lost by a bit more, but overall it was a great tournament. We won one, lost two but got through on points. We should not have lost one at night. Mark did his knee really badly on the Saturday night and had to go to hospital which was such a shame. We took a lot of injuries over the whole weekend, so considering that, we did very well.

Blood Red Moon - once in 125 years! Wow!

Paish did amazing! So proud of you! Happy Birthday Rox - it's gonna last another couple of weeks!

Colin's Mangos are back! Tray after tray after tray for the next few weeks! Love it!

Went to Swan Valley, WBA networking and Northbridge to see Tang Law's seminar.

C: Would have preferred a mini-break! It was fun watching rugby though - well done Paish!

Happy birthday Clara! We love you soooo much!

2018-01-28 Paua Rose Seamers Tournament, Tennis, Touch, Australia Day Weekend!

Clara: I played with Paua Rose in the Seamers tournament - it was such a hot day, and we were inside and there was no air conditioning! It was a strange game where we had nets all around, but it was so much fun playing with a different group of girls - Chevy and Skye also played.

We played pretty well, and got to the final by beating my touch rugby team which had Namahe in it! That was fun. We almost lost to them earlier in the day, but I managed to help the team to win in the second half comfortably - I really enjoyed that game!

Since the Australia Open started, Daddy and I have been up loads! We have been working on my backhand, but it will take a while to be consistent. The Open has been amazing though! Halep lost to Wozniacki, but it was a great game. Federer plays Cilic tonight - can't wait!

Matilda and Jaya both came round for a play dates on separate days. I went roller blading with Matilda which was funny!

Aiysha: Touch rugby has started again - first game was a complete washout and Grandma and Grandpa came to watch in gale force winds and rain - not nice. The following week was lovely, but I enjoyed them all! I love it!

Dad was almost set to play, but injured his knee again at training, so is unlikely to make it - that is so sad, he tried so hard!

C: Summer still here! Met the Shepherds and Watsons at Mullaloo on a windy Australia Day - it was lovely though, and met Chevy and Ash fishing down there - that was funny!

Awesome tournament Rox! How you played in that heat was unbelievable!

S: Sad about my knee - sooooo frustrating! Don't think there is much chance now....

Well done Roxy! Amazing play! What a shame you can't play with them next year at U13!

2018-01-16 Goodbye Grandma & Grandpa, Australian Open

Clara: Seems like we have done so much with our visitors! In our last week, we went out for fish and chips, we went to the beach loads and they went bodyboarding, went for walks, went to the Hopman Cup to watch Federer. That was my highlight - I was sooo excited to see him play. He played Zvarev, and beat him, and the Swiss ended up wining the whole thing! Awesome!

It is so sad to say goodbye, but it was wonderful having you here! I can't wait to see you soon!

I'm loving the Australian Open, and Daddy and I are getting out practicing every day!

Aiysha: It was such a lovely last week, apart from the crazy weather when we played touch! It was ridiculous! Not only that, we only had one guy playing! We only lost by a couple in the end, which was really good. It was fun going to the tennis, to the beach, and fish and chips!

I had to say an early goodbye to Grandma and Grandpa as I went with Casey to Preston Beach. It wasn't far away, and there wasn't too much to do, but we had fun! I even had time to go for a 6km run!

We'll miss you soooooo much! Goodby Furbies!

C: It will be a quiet house when they go :-(

S: What a great place to watch tennis! Love it! It's real quiet without you guys here - we'll miss you!

Thank you guys so much for such a wonderful time! See you soon!

2018-01-09 Denmark, Dusty & Video Shoot!

Aiysha: Denmark was awesome! We visited the Harveys, went to Elephant Rock, Green Pools, some amazing beaches and even a hemp house for Grandpa! He enjoyed that!

Clara: I loved Denmark and being with Grandma and Grandpa, but I also missed Smokey! Daddy looked after him though.

C: I could live in Denmark! It was lovely!

S: Had a few quiet days on my own with Smokey, the jigsaw and work :-) I also made myself my first laksa with prawns, fish balls, bean curd, bean sprouts, mint and laksa sauce - it was yummy!

We went for a video shoot at the QV1 building and at HESG head office - that was some experience for myself, Dustin and Lucas. It ws Dustin's first week back from Germany. We also took him down for the first round table at Mullaloo Beach! That was fun!
