2019-05-20 Pre-TACT Tournament, HBF Run, Cottesloe Rugby, AHA Supplier Awards

Clara: Played our TACT pre-carnival, and we won all games apart from Fremantle where we had a lot of trouble shooting. Hopefully we'll do better in 2 weeks time! It was a fun day though.

Aiysha: Dad and I went to Cottesloe Rugby Club to watch a 15-a-side game. It was interesting, and maybe it is something I can do this season as there is no 7s tournament.

C: Well done Rox at the carnival, and well done beating Saints on Saturday!

S: The whole team were at the HBF Run For A Reason! We decided to do the 12km run, and Tomoko, Henry and I managed to intersperse our walk with a 500m run for the first half, then we decided to wait for the others. It was a great event, and would do it again. Would be good to run it, and it got more scenic as the course went on. We all finished it though, which was great.

We had the AHA Awards night at Burswood - it was funny, and we didn't expect to win anything unlike some of our clients!

2019-05-12 Interhouse Carnival, Netball Season Starts, Poor Drone, Mothers Day, Pool Shed, End Game Date

Clara: Netball season again! We won our first game against Westcoasters (Karolyn's team - Bella from my old team was playing in that team), but lost to Venetians in our second was was disappointing. We were 7 points up twice in the game, and lost the lead both times. I was off in the last quarter, so I could not do anything at all. What a shame. We went to the new Kingsway markets, and Daddy thought the sausages were too expensive. Mummy was disappointed.

Aiysha: Dad took some awesome footage of our rugby training last Wednesday when Wests played against the Aon girls. After the second quarter however, there was a loud crash - Dad reverse back into the trees! It was so loud, and he was not happy at all.

For the inter-house carnival, I didn't do too well in the 100m - 3rd, but I won the 200m which I was really happy about!

C: Daddy is a plonk!

S: Ah man! How annoying crashing our drone! Hope it is an easy repair!

2019-04-27 Pemberton, Mummy's Birthday

We had so much fun down in Pemberton. We lived in a small hut at the bottom of the farm, no connectivity, no appliances, and just a gas cooker - it was amazing! We climbed huge trees, watched the stars every night, ate some amazing food, played games, climbed a hill, went to the beach, and went running in the forest. We also flew, and almost lost, our drone! Funny!

It was also Mummy's Birthday and we managed to stretch the celebrations out until Mother's Day. Mummy got two sets of flowers, a speaker, a milk frother, some elephant candles and some lovely hangings!

Happy Birthday Moomy!

2019-04-20 Dancing, First Week of Holidays, Freo Street Festival

Clara: I had my solo comp, and I managed to get an honourable mention even though I partially forgot my dance. I hope my knee gets better soon so I can practice more.

Me and Daddy went down to Fremantle to see the street arts festival. We saw some really good acts. One lady gymnast who shot a bow and arrow with her feet upside down, and then another funny juggler. We got an ice cream after our nachos which was way too much, and decided to stay for one more act-lucky we did! We saw a man who was on Officially Amazing, he juggles and he swallows knives! It was sooooo cool to see him. We donated to all of the performers.

Aiysha: Hmmm, study, study, study....

C: We decided to go for a walk around Quinns Rocks after a garage sale, and it was sooo windy and cold! Not a great start to Winter!

S: It was a really cool afternoon in Freo at the street arts festival! Some great acts, and lucky we decided to stay for just one more act! Listened to some great concept albums on the way down too!

2019-04-15 Last Beach Swim, Workshop and Dumplings

S: We went for possibly the last swim of the season on Mullaloo! It was a bit chilly at first, but once we started throwing the skimmer ball around, it was amazing!

Went for dumplings with the guys, and also went on the WBA Networking Tour Bus around Wanneroo, Alkimos and Mindarie! It was fun!

Gave a workshop for WBA too - what a busy week!

2019-04-06 Western Force

S: Went with Mr Gray to watch Western Force vs South East Asia Dragons - just so happens we sat next to Damien! It was not a great game at all but was funny sitting next to Mr Gray and going for a drink! Funny watching Paish being ball girl again :-)

2019-03-24 BF in Mandurah, Cross Country, ACC Swimming and The Honey Badger!

Aiysha: I was ball girl with Nicole at Western Force against the Asian Barbarians, and Honey Badger Nick Cummins was playing! Dad set me the challenge of getting a selfie with him, but after the game there were so many people with him so I gave up and went to get changed. When I came out into the corridor, I saw him, and thought I had to do it, and I did! It was so funny!

We had inter-house cross country this week, and for the first time ever I won it!! I was so proud of myself, and showed that all the training I have been doing is paying off!

ACC Swimming Relay - what a race! I was the third leg and we were behind by quite a few metres and was around 3-4th, and I managed to catch up all the way to give Asha the lead to win the race! It was great!

We had the Wests Rugby Club Open Day and we were there to do a demo of touch, which was fun. It was pretty hot too! I'm looking forward to the season now.

Clara: I enjoyed my first ACC, but I was sad to miss the Cross Country because of my knee. Next year I'll be back with a vengeance!

C: Nice to go and watch a Western Force game AND Paish being ball girl.

S: I can't believe you got the picture! Hilarious!

Amazing break down in Mandurah with the BF crew - so many laughs, nice food, lot's of work done, some competition, beaches and chilled!
