2021-08-29 We Beat Hamersley 1! Callie Jumps Out of Car Window! Adrienne's Camping Birthday

 

Rox: We beat Hamersley team 1 by 2 goals! It was such a hectic game, and we managed to get so many turnovers! I didn't even know we won at the end, but I was so happy. I played C the whole game, and it was so tiring, but we did it! They can be beaten! They were not happy. Let's see if we can do it next week!

We beat Success at Metro which was fairly easy - beat them by 84-24. Pretty convincing. Watched u14 vs Perth - and the positioning was all wrong! In the last quarter, there was only 1 mid-court on, and the coach didn't even support the team anymore - it was pretty poor coaching all round, and they lost by a lot, even though they were 22-22 at half time. Lot's of drama's straight after the game too.

On Friday night we watched Roar vs Warriors - the Warriors won, but it was a close game. We then went for dumplings after, which was yummy!

Last Of Us - Ellie was a bit weird!

When we went for a walk with Callie up at Quinns, she decided to jump straight out the window! It was nuts, and she landed in the central reservation in the middle of the road. She yelped, but luckily she didn't hurt herself! We pulled over, checked her over, then went for a beach walk and she was fine - crazy critter!

Paish: Went to a lake and drove some boats around for Adrienne's birthday camping weekend. Had a big fire, and lot's of laughs. I'm so tired!

S: What the heck Callie! Amazing game Rox! Incredible!

C: Callie! What are you doing! Vet! What a game Rox - you played supa dupa! Beating Team 1 is amazing!

2021-08-23 TACT Dinner, Burns Beach Walk, Mangos! Divas Olympic Night Out

Rox: We finally had our TACT dinner, and we could not wait to hear all the gossip, which I won't discuss here. It was great to see everyone, and the food was lovely! It was a funny night out, and we even managed to do some tik-toks!

Paish: Jenna and I went to the Divas Olympic Dress Up as a Volleyball Net - it was brilliant! It was a funny night.

C: We had Monday off, and we had a lovely walk from Burns Beach up the coastline then onto the beach - it was beautiful!

S: It was a very funny TACT dinner! Lot's of gossip!

2021-08-14 Paish Hat Trick, Drenched Metro vs Perth, Hakuna Matata Win Final - 3rd Place!

 

S: Hakuna Matata final this week - Paish made a guest appearance and we won 5-4! So cool! It was a fun game and amazingly it was try compared to Roxy's netball where it was pouring with rain!

Amazing tries Paish, so proud! Can't believe you didn't get MOTM!

Paish: It was so fun the play the touch game and to have the cake after! Great that we won!

I loved playing against Kala - they were unfortunately a couple of players down, but I got to play in the centre, and scored 3 times and kicked! It was so much fun, and it was dry!

Rox: Saints - pretty easy win.

2021-08-05 Top Terrace is Finished!

 

C: Wow, so glad we did our top terrace with the Bali hut - it looks so good! Can't wait to use it after all this rain!

S: Wow, amazing top terrace - well done Didi!

2021-07-25 Wests vs Wanneroo - Dad vs Paish, Hammers Top Table Clash, Lions vs SA 1st Test

Paish: We played Wests on Saturday - this would be the first time we played them since Dad started coaching there, and they did so well! We had trouble in the backs against them, and it didn't help that I had trouble catching the ball. It was such a hard game which we won comfortably in the end - 29-0, but the score did not reflect how hard we had to work for it. They should be very proud at how they are improving!

Dad picked me up from The Lookout, and we went home to watch the Lions game - it was such a close game, and Uncle Dave was watching. The Lions only won by 2 points, which was so exciting!

Rox: We played the top Hamersley team today and I was pretty nervous going. We didn't have Abbi which was a shame. However, when it came to the game, I was so determined to play well! Janine Birkett was our coach for the day as Chelsea was away, and she kept me in C the whole game. Everyone played so well, and if it wasn't for the little 1%ers, we would have won! I was so proud to be only 2 points down at the end though and I really think we got them on the ropes if we play them again! I can't wait!

S: Wow, how well are the Wests girls doing! Even from this week compared to last week, it has been a massive transformation. Even though we lost, they are starting to play with some confidence. The ref even came up to us at the end and complimented the team, and mentioned the backs line was great. Well done girls.

Paish worked so hard in all areas around the pitch, and must have been frustrated not catching some gaps she created on her own. Well done Paish you will have games like that, but work rate is still amazing!

Roxy played one of the best games I've ever see her - she played 4 quarters C, and played an incredible role where they only lost by 2 against the top Hammers team - and they didn't have Abbi! What a star!

C: Wow Roxy Roo! You were amazing! The most exciting game of the season by far - Dan even came down to watch! You really had them, and such a shame we gave one too many turnovers away! So proud of you!

2021-07-18 Rugby Carnival at Bayswater, Didi Bali Hut Starts, Harrisons 20th, Venetians. Corporate Box at Fever!

  

Paish: All teams played at Bayswater - we played Cottesloe in a very messy match - they did really well to disrupt us, and without Pare and Pippi in the pack we struggled. We were down by 5 in the first half, and in the second half Neeks made a break down the blind side and passed it off to me to score, and we managed to even up the score and draw in the end. We need more structure and leadership! I felt I played pretty well though, but we need creative players in the backs to do some damage.

Went to Harrison's 20th - it was so much fun - saw Charlie and Joe Joe there too! It was so nice. Jenna came along which was really nice. I hope she enjoyed meeting loads of new people!

Rox: We played Venetians this week - it was a pretty comfortable win, and I thought we played pretty well.

We then drove to Bayswater to watch Paish and Wests which was cool - lucky the rain held off! We had to leave to get home to walk the Baskie Hound, and then we headed into town to meet up with The Russos, Aaliyah, Andrea, Marcel, Harry to watch the Fever game from the corporate box! It was so cool! The Fever won pretty easily, and it was so much fun sitting with Mia and Aaliyah! We then took the Russos to Authentic Bites for dumplings - it was sooo nice and I ate so much! The loved it too!

S: We had a frantic game against Kala - they did play well, but we just threw the ball away and gave them too many chances to run at us.

So glad to be able to watch Paish's game though, even though it looked frustrating. Both games were very messy, a lot to work on.

C: Didi started on our Bali hut this week - can't wait to see what it looks like!

Rox played really well again, Paish you did good, and the Fever game was great! Loved it!

2021-07-06 Dad Coaching at Wests! Isolation. School Holidays + Extra Week!

 

Paish: Week 2 isolation - kill me now! Still doing my daily workouts, but really can't wait to go out! I have arranged to go out on the Monday next week on the first day of freedom! Everyone better come out with me!

Rox: Funny being on school holidays with Paish in isolation - we all feel bad going out and leaving her behind, but we keep her company as much as we can!

Rain rain rain! So much rain! We managed to go for a few runs and some circuit work as a change to what we normally do.

Yay! School holidays - gonna plan a few gavo's with my school and netball friends!

S: Got my new camera delivered Canon R6 - can't wait to do some wacky things with it!

Kay had organised me to be a guest coach at Wests, and after meeting with CB, we sorted it out. The first session went pretty well working on the breakdown, and the second session we continued the work and advanced it. The girls were really receptive, and it was so nice to be coaching again. Let's see how it goes.

C: Poor Paishy! You are doing so well keeping your spirits up though!

I am sooooo glad it is school holidays - that was a loooong term, but at least we got an extra week! There was a Covid lockdown because a parent was diagnosed positive, so we were one of 3 schools to shut down! Cool!

2021-06-28 I am 19! Super W - Western Force vs Presidents XV! CASS Incredible Final!

 

Paish: It was so cool to be traveling over East again, and we were so excited to be playing for WA. In the game, it started off so well we were two tries up. Unfortunately, the came back and scored two pretty soft tries, and in the end we drew 14-14. It was a disappointing end, but we know we can score which is great.

Due to COVID, the team made the decision to come home after one game, which was also disappointing, and I had to go into quarantine for 14 days - it was so painful. I had to do workouts at home, but at least I didn't need to stay in one room! At least Rox, Daddy, Mummy and Callie kept me company the whole time, and we had lots of good chats and played some games.

Maybe next year will be better!

Rox: What a final to CASS netball vs Peter Moyes! We were7 points down going into the last quarter, and we decided to make some decisions for ourselves. Instead of Aaliyah going into GD, we put her into GA so we could do an all-out attack, and man did it work - they could not reply, and we managed to win by 3 in the end 30-28 - it was the most incredible game, and so may people were watching! This game will go down in history! It was so exciting!

S: Man, that was the most stressful game I've seen all season! Well done! I told Lisa what they should do, and Lisa passed it on - good job she did!

C: What a crazy game! I thought there was no chance of coming back! Lucky they changed their positions themselves!
