2022-08-21 MVP + Players Player! Last Wests Game vs Kala, Mooch in Freo

 

Rox: We had our Comets awards day today, and there was so much gossip! I also got awarded MVP and Players Player which was awesome, and Janine had such a nice speech for me. I had so much fun as quite a lot of my friends went too!

Paish: We had our last game against Kala this week - we didn't have enough players for a 15s game, so we decided to play 10s and borrow some of the Kala players - I got to play with Ari and Paiho! It was fun, and I score a cool try, but man I need to get fitter! It was a nice end to the season and makes me look forward to next season!

C: Daddy and I had a mooch around Freo South Beach with The Bouster, and had a lovely lunch at Bathers Beach House!

Mummy and Rox drove me to the airport.

 

Wednesday (Arrival, Lutterworth, 3am)  (03 August 2022)

Arrived at around 2pm and Dave picked me up to go straight up to Lutterworth.

 It is sunny and hot!

Sunday (Red Tarn, Mole, Afternoon Tea Hunt)  (07 August 2022)

Nice full breakfast, then headed out into the wind and cold up to Red Tarn. Both of us remembered it being a lot shorter than it was - it was pretty tough, but great when we got there!

 

Monday (100m x 200m, BBQ, Aus vs Arg)  (08 August 2022)

Worked in the morning, and had lovely Red Leicester cheese on toast! Yum! Went for a fitness sprint session - my hammy held up, and Dave did very well, and then had a barbie on our old BBQ when we got back - sausages and wagyu burgers - yummy!

Friday (Tennis, Brownsover Manor, Murder Mystery) (12 August 2022)

Tennis in the morning - 3rd day in a row, and starting to feel it today. Dave struggled, and at one point he was 9-3 up, and lost 11-9! He was not happy, and threw his racket! Temper temper!

Sat in the garden for ages chatting, then headed off in our taxi to Rugby Train station.

 

 

 

Monday (Tate Modern, Embankment, Mexican, Chilli Hot, The Endless) (15 August 2022)

Lovely coffee and croissant at All Press cafe, and then headed into town to Tate Modern - surprisingly excellent!

Tuesday (Back to Perth!) (16 August 2022)

Breakfast at All Press, walked to the cafe chatting to an Israeli guy, and bought him a coffee - nice guy! Very thankful for the coffee!
