2023-08-02 I'm off to Commonwealth Games! Dim Sum, First Intercept

 

Rox: Celebration! We went to Dim Sum! It was soooooo nice!

I am on my way to the Youth Commonwealth Games! It is so exciting! I had a bit of a hiccup on the way by breaking my phone, but Dad managed to get me one in Sydney! Thank you!

Paish: Good luck Rocky Roo! I'm off to practice at DAB for 10 weeks! Fun...

2023-07-16 Hamersley Comets Double Champions! 100-0!

 

Rox: What an amazing week - beating Roar with the last shot of the game, and then beating Demons convincingly to win the Championship! What a season! It has been incredible. George even came to watch.

I went on in the Open's final too which we won, so I got two medals! It was such a fun night!

Paish: We beat Southern Lions 100-0! The best part of the game was that I actually kicked conversions from the sidelines for the first time ever! I was pretty happy.

Roxy played so well, and the whole Comets team was so confident winning the final! It was very impressive.

C: Amazing Rox! What a season! No one would gave guessed we would win the final at the start of the season!

I can't believe you went on in the Open's final too which we won against Roar!

Great win Paish! Your kicking was amazing!

2023-06-21 Day 12 (Wed) Balangan, Dreamland, Bingin, Pizzeria Italy Again!

2023-06-21 Day 12 (Wed) Up earlyish, Balangan Beach for surfing - amazing, Dreamland beach - crowded and rubbish, Bingin Beach - late afternoon lunch, then sunset. Pizzeria Italia 3rd night. Won 4-1 Deal. Had the best taxi driver ever from Sumatra, gave him a big tip

2023-06-20 Day 11 (Tue) Lovely breakfast, Temple, Nyang Nyang Rock Pools, Pizzeria Italy, Tara Belle

2023-06-20 Day 11 (Tue) Lovely breakfast - nasi goreng, see goreng + German smokers and Temple - soooo hot - turtles, monkeys, woman on own, drink and Deal, then went to Nyang Nyang - exploring rock pools - moving starfish, water centipede, crabs - amazing! Lay down, then early dinner at Pizzeria Italia after no lunch, then to Tara Belle for carrot cake and brownies - so nice!

2023-06-19 Day 10 (Mon) Paish Passed! Race around the pool. Amazing market - shopping done!, Lunch in boujee place, Taxi to The Kirana - pool room first night, Pizzeria Italia - nicest Italian ever!

 

What a day:

• Paish had a zoom with the head of her course "Of course I'm not going to fail you!" She was so happy! Well done Paish! To celebrate, we raced around the pool - pretty equal around the step on the edge, but when we had to run down the middle in deep water, I came out on top, tee hee!
• Super cool Aeroplane Cafe - Delio and croissants! So cool, then went for a walkabout around the plane!
• Stumbled upon an amazing market in Kuta - no hassle, no bargaining, and got pretty much everything we wanted! Paish will say I just bought stuff for myself - don't believe her!
• Had an amazing lunch in the boujee place just down a side street
• The Kirana was right next to the huge budda statue! Pool was lovely, and we had the pool room on the first night
• Found an amazing Pizzeria Italia - so nice, right in the busy night life part of town. Little did we know that there were pretty much two versions of a lot of restaurants - we thought we were going mad!
