2026-05-10 Mother's Day at Duckstein and Sunset, Semi-Retirement Day, Grill'd, First Coaching Game, Mummy's Birthday - Pretty Woman, Simple Italian

C: What a cool couple of weekends! For my birthday, we all went into the city to Simple Italian right on the river - very posh, and very nice setup! I then went to Pretty Woman with my friends, which was so much fun!

THEN, the following weekend for Mother's Day, we went to Duckstein in the Swan Valley, and had the most amazing pork belly bites and ONE German sausage that fed us all! It was so nice, and the weather was amazing. We all then went to watch the sunset with Bau at Burns Beach. Paish tripped over a rock, and her phone ended up underneath it! That was very strange and funny.

Thanks guys for such a lovely time!

Rox: Happy Birthday Mummy! It was such a fun day out, hope you enjoyed it - I did!

Me and Daddy went for lunch - we tried a few places such as TGI Fridays which was way too expensive, and ended up a Grill'd where I was accompanied by a crow - scary stuff.

I had my first coaching game with Hamersley Top 15s team, and they smashed! They will likely move up to 18s I think.

Paish: So glad our plans were successful, apart from Dad giving away the sunset so he could bring Bau, but I'm glad Bau came along - it was so nice. The Italian was so beautiful on the river too!

S: Happy birthday mommy! Duckstein was yum!! I enjoyed!

On Friday I tried out semi-retirement - dog walk, herbs, music, video editing, exercise. It was so fun! I think I could easily do this!

We also went to a Vietnamese in Girraween with Paish and Mummy - it was very nice.

2026-04-24 I'm Making Friday Night Dinners! Surfing, Margaret River - Forest Grove / Myalup, Avoka First Shift, Dumplings

Rox: I decided that from now on I will make dinners on Friday night! I started off with a Butter Chicken, and will see what happens. I want to build up my recipe book!

I had my first shift at Avoka too - Daddy took a sneak pic of my while Mummy ordered a coffee for their Jorgensen walk. Funny! I love it!

Paish: We all went to dumplings and Yo-Chi - it was so nice! I loved it! I can't wait to play my first game - so close now, and everything feels good!

C: We had a mini-break down to Forest Grove - it was soooo nice! The weather was mixed - Daddy tried to foil in crazy wind, and managed to get up, and we had a nice windy lunch at the beach cafe, I had an outdoor bath, and the farm was amazing! The Margaret River Pro was on, but it was cancelled due to bad weather, and we went to a lovely walk in Margaret River along the river. I ended up being the videographer for Daddy's video, which was funny.

Friday Night Dinners by Rox is a great idea!

S: My video was so fun to shoot. The farm house was amazing, and Bau loved it! Foiling was crazy.

We stopped off at the Crooked Carrot both ways, which was cool. It was cool exploring the coast, and we had a night-time photo comp of the stars, which was so cool!

Bau: I loved the farm, chasing the sheep, and watching Doody do crazy things in the forest. So fun!
