2007-03-26 So Many Seeds!
Aiysha: We spent a lot of the weekend picking up seeds from the palms! The bin was so full! Daddy even chopped a branch full of seeds, and he could hardly carry it as it was so heavy!
Daddy took me for tennis on Saturday, and he took me for our own lesson at our nearest tennis court on Sunday! It was really fun, but really hot! Mummy and Clary came to watch, and they said I did some really good hitting! It was fun, and I can't wait to go again!
Mummy was pretty tired on Saturday, so Daddy took me bodyboarding to Mullalloo beach for about 2 hours, which was so funny! We caught some really big waves, which completely covered me! We ended up making sandcastles, which was really funny, as Daddy made a turtle head!
The pool was really cold this weekend, but Mummy still did her exercises. For a treat, we went on our yearly trip to KFC! We watched all the people driving into the drive-in, which Grandma Sue would love to do!
I finally let Daddy watch Charlie And The Chocolate Factory - I didn't really want to watch it, but when I did, I loved it, and I asked Mummy and Daddy so many questions about it after, just like after we went to the cinema! I can't wait to watch it again!
Lauren came to play, and stay for dinner. We played very nicely, Mummy said, and she liked Daddy's special beef dish. We did lots of pretend play.
I had my first assembly with the school today! We were introduced to everyone, and we sat right at the front! The prefects did a Teddy Bear Picnic play, and a chaplain with a funny hat taught us about the virtue 'tactfulness' - I could learn a lot! Mummy, Clara and Daddy came to my assembly, and I was so proud!
Clara: I am starting to smile now - the Wigley family make me laugh so much!
C: Not nice now that the pool is colder - we need our solar heating to work!
S: The beach was lovely, and the sea was so nice to swim in, even though it was a little cold.
Meals: Boiled Chicken, KFC, Special Beef, Moon Noodles
