2008-09-15 What A Week!

Aiysha:
I am so proud of myself! I have had such an amazing week, I can't quite believe it!

Firstly, I was given a Prefect Certificate for giving 100% in the school carnival! I didn't know about it on Friday, and they just said my name! Only 3 certificates got given out, and I was one of them!

I was also told that I would be chosen to run in the Inter-School athletics meet in a couple of week for Division 1 in my year group!

Also, I went to gymnastics, and I have been selected for the National Competitions training, and that means 4 hours a week!

ALSO, when I went swimming, I got my final certificate from Sharks, and I have now moved up to Bronze where I use fins. Mummy bought me my fins already, and I was walking around the house with them. Clogger just looked at me funny!

Mummy and Daddy were very proud of me, and they gave me lots of smiley faces! As a treat, I got to choose what I did at the weekend, as it was my special weekend! I decided that I wanted to go to Wild Kids, but when I phoned Lauren, she preferred to go skating, so I thought it would be nice to do what Lauren wanted, so we went skating. Tiana turned up surprisingly, and we had a nice skate together. I didn't want to rest at all!

On Sunday, I really wanted to go to Arena Joondalup, even though the weather was not very nice. Clogger went on Friday, and didn't go in the water, but this time she even went round the river with Mummy and Daddy! It was so funny! I finally managed to go on the giant slide after the party, while Daddy was making people laugh by lying on the jaccuzzi bubbles, and making his tummy really big with the bubbles.

I even tidied the games room on my own, and I was very proud of that. In the evening, we had roast lamb, and it was amazing! It is definitely one of my favourites.

Clogger: Aiysha has done really well - everyone was so happy for her, even me. I cannot wait to do all the things she has done! I am a proud sister! I am trying my best by practicing my running everywhere I go - one day I will be even faster that Aiya!

I know how to say "NO" - Mummy and Daddy laugh each time, as they say it sounds like a Northern Accent "Naw", whatever that means. I am saying so many things now, and it is amazing how I can use these sounds to communicate.

C: We are so proud of Aiysha. Clara is running everywhere, and tells us exactly when she wants to do something or not. When she says "Naw", she always runs her hands through her hair too, which is very funny!

S: Boo, a little bit of a rainy weekend! Aiysha went round the river all on her own, and was fine! We worked out it has been almost 2 years since we last went, so that is quite a leap! gymnastics will be hard - good job we stopped the cricket. We will continue with tennis, but try and add some hockey and netball - she hasn't had much team sports yet, so she will enjoy these
