2009-05-18 Daddy Helper and A Fishy Affair!

Aiysha: What a funny week we had this week, and a lovely weekend! Last night we all went out for dinner at 'A Fishy Affair' in Northbridge, and Clogger and I had 2 plates of fish and chips - it was sooooo yummy! It was dark when we came out, and we decided to go running around in the park in Northbridge! Mummy showed me how to do arab springs, and she tried to catch me but I was too fast - Daddy was laughing! Daddy also took some spooky pictures with the camera. Clog was laughing so much, and following me wherever I went - her socks got so dirty!

This week I got 3 certificates! One was from gym for best worker, one was for getting 100% for both the normal spelling test and extension words which Mummy and Daddy helped me on, and I collected most raffle tickets for doing good things when Mrs Todd was away, so I got a pink pen!

Daddy was Daddy helper on Wednesday, and it was fun! He was in charge of one of the groups - it was a shame that my group missed out on going to his activity, so I hardly got to spend time with him, but it was so nice to have him there. He was having a good laugh with everyone else though, and he stayed for recess, and I sat with him and loads of other kids came over to talk with us. It was funny!

Clogger Rockstar: I love going out to dinner! I ate so many chips, and even drank a little coke! Running around in the dark with Pieshe was the best! She makes me laugh so much, and she looked after me so well!

C: We lost daylight saving! We are all sad about it, but I'm sure it will not be so bad. Maybe we'll actually use our outdoor Christmas lights now! Dinner out was lovely, and I got to relax for the first time in ages! Steve and I could not believe how grown up Aiysha looks now - really quite scary! We are so proud of her.

S: Daddy helper was absolutely brilliant! Aiysha has such a great class, and I got to know all of their names. They were a funny bunch, and I can't wait to do it again. Shame I didn't get to do activities with Aiysha's group, but maybe next time.

Real shame about daylight saving. We'll just have to have more night time swims now - what a shame...
