2009-06-08 The Ridge Close Gang, and Yanchep!

Aiysha:
My gym competitions start soon, and I am practicing so much. Everywhere I go I am doing hand stands! I think I spend more time on my hands than on my feet! I got worker of the day last week, and I was very happy about that!

We've been to Yanchep twice in 2 weeks! We tried to go to the caves last week, but we missed the last tour. We saw lots of joeys, did some fishing with out nets (which was great fun), and ended up driving to the coast to watch a huge storm come in! We saw lots of lightening! It was quite scary, but very exciting! This weekend we managed to go through the caves, and we had our own private tour! It was great!

I've got a bit of a Ridge Close Gang now - Lauren, Ashley, Myself, and sometimes Seran when she visits! We spent loads of time together this weekend and last weekend, and it has been so funny! Clogger joins in with her bike, which is very funny!

On Saturday we went out to dinner to a Vietnamese Restaurant, but Clogger and I did not like it, which was a shame. Mummy said next time we would choose something for us!

Daddy and I did some catching practice too, which was hard but I was so proud when I did 10 in a row - I though I would never do it!

We went to Daddy's friend Mandy's place last weekend while Mummy was working, and went to a cool park for brunch. Clogger and I had chips, and we spent ages in the park. We also had an ice cream, and look around Mandy's new house - she has 7 TV's! And most of them are all bigger than ours!

Anaconda imported 10 tonnes of snow on Saturday for tobogganing, but the line was so big I could not see the end of it. We decided just to throw a bit of snow around, and then get some doughnuts. That was more fun, but I cannot wait to go skiing!

Clogger: I'm wearing pants now! I can go for a wee wee all on my own! I always ask for someone to come along, but I make sure the seat is ready, put my own seat on, take my pants off, climb onto my seat, get the paper, climb off my seat, put my pants on, flush, and close the toilet. I love it! I also get a smiley face each time I go, so sometimes I go twice within 5 minutes!

I was a bit scared in the cave, but I was soon telling people where to stand, especially Daddy. I kept on telling him to stay behind all of us!

When Daddy took me out for my second 'Buddy Day' on Friday, we took Aiysha to school, and then we headed off into town! We arrived in town at about 11, and went to Daddy's work place. It is nice to see where he works, and I recognised all the people in his pictures on his wall - Mummy, Aiysha and ME! From there we went for dim sum in Northbridge, where I ate some noodles and banana. Daddy really enjoyed it! We then walked over to the Big Wheel next to the river, said hello to Daddy's touch rugby players, and climbed into our own capsule! It was so much fun going up and down, and we spent ages up there! I pointed out loads of things, and we had a real laugh. I'm sad that Aiysha and Mummy are not here though. After that, we went to get a Boost Juice, which I loved! We finally got on the train, and I fell asleep on the way up in the buggy, and all the way to Aiysha's school.

I woke up at Martina's house, and from there we walked home. Mummy came home while we were watching TV, and was so happy finishing her first week of teaching.

Aiysha has lots of friends, and I only have Aria at ABC. I hope I have more friends soon!

I love riding my bike, and trying to catch Aiysha, Lauren and Ashley!

C: One week down, three to go! I cannot wait for my holiday! I hope the weather is like it is now!

S: The Lions have won 3 out of 3 in SA so far, and it is so exciting! Yanchep was beautiful! Loved it! We've had our first fires this week - a little bit chilli!
