2010-04-26 Grandma Sik & Grandpa Brian

Aiysha:
Before Grandma and Grandpa arrived, Daddy took me windsurfing, and I loved it! Well, the first time I did. The second time I felt it was a little bit difficult, and got frustrated. But I'm going to try again next year, and I cannot wait!

The week after Grandma Sue and Grandpa Arthur left, we had the biggest storm ever! There were hailstones the size of tennis balls, and our games room was completely destroyed! I helped move everything out, and Daddy did not get home until 9.30 as the trains broke down. It was very exciting, but a little scary too! Mummy and Daddy say we might get a new games room! I hope so.

It was so nice to see Grandma and Grandpa again! They were really happy, and we had lots of laughs. Daddy and Mummy took them all around. In the first week, Daddy took them to Dunsborough to stay in Daddy's bosses place. They stayed for 3 days. He also took them on lots of walks along the beach, and we went on several walks with them - some of them very windy on Mullalloo!

Grandad did lots of jobs round the house like painting and gardening - why do all Grandpas do jobs round the house when Daddy does not? Daddy needs to pull his socks up!

On the day that Grandma and Grandad left, I made up a cool competition in the garden, consisting of catching, throwing and hoops! I also did a presentation of prizes! It was so funny.

Clara: I was really scared in the storm. But I was brave. I am trying to be a big girl in my bed, but sometimes I have accidents, but I am getting better.

C: The storm was crazy! The rain was so heavy, and the wind was very scary! Aiysha was amazing helping get all the things in from the games room. Can't wait for a new one though! It is about time!

S: We had a great time - saw 2 awesome games - Dockers beat Geelong in the last minute, and Western Force beat Crusaders in the last minute! Amazing! Dunsborough was soo nice - walks, lighthouse, lovely food (even a curry!), and 1-1 at Scrabble. A few runs along the beach too!

Back in Perth, we did lots of walks (Iluka, Pinnaroo, Mullalloo), went for some Dim Sum, made some lovely dinners, and watched some great movies - Kill Bill (Dunsborough), Pursuit of Happyness, and even 300! Grandad liked the violent genre for some reason.

Best holiday yet!
