2010-07-05 I am 8!

Aiysha:
I am 8 years old! I do feel like a big girl, and I had my party at High Flyers! Again I invited Hannah Banana over for a sleepover, and it was so much fun! She is my best friend.

The football World Cup has started, and I get newspapers everyday from school to look up the teams that are playing and what groups they are in. Mr. D ordered them in for us. One newspaper pretty much fills up my bag!

I had the best birthday ever! I go so many Smiggles stuff (which I also gave to Clara), and I got loads of stuff from the family – Thank You all! I’ll be busy writing you all thank you notes, so watch out!

Hannah came round on the Saturday, and we went for the coldest game of golf at Leapfrog ever! It was freezing, and we were so late for our table. We all did pretty well though, and it felt like a true Winter’s day. We were back pretty late, and we got ready for bed, even though Hannah and I were so excited. Hannah slept on the floor again next to my bed, and we woke up the next morning with Clara to play DS and watch TV. What a cool birthday! We watched Trapped, which Hannah had not seen before.

We had loads of things to bring to High Flyers, and Daddy did a special CD of all the songs I have listened to in my life so far – it is a very good one! We played it all the way through my party, which was so cool. Katy was in charge of my party since Tony was not well. We did free play, trampolines, the parachute, and then more free play. It was so much fun, and I made sure that my sister did not miss out! I made sure I looked after her, and she had a great time. We then had our party food upstairs, and everyone sang happy birthday. I was so happy! When we got home, I started handing my presents from the party out for different people to open, so everyone was involved. It was great, and it wasn’t even my birthday yet!

Unfortunately, Beck came to pick Hannah up, and I will miss her! It was great to see her, and hopefully we will see each other soon. She may even join High Flyers…

The following Sunday, we decided to go up to Yanchep for an early morning walk – it was lovely! We walked right around the lake, played hide and seek, had some snacks, and Roxy and I played a trick on Mummy and Daddy – Roxy lost her pink fluffy jacket, and me and Roxy went to the office to find it, and when we walked down, I hid it behind my back, and Mummy got really worried, and I suddenly brought it out from behind my back, and laughed so much  Daddy is not the only one who can play tricks.

Roxy Roo: My sister and I are besties! She looks after me so much – at her party, when we go out. I can be a little mean to her, but I love her so much!

C: My holiday is almost over, and I will be starting my course at the end of July! Oh no!

S: I loved the walk around Yanchep park – the birds were amazing! Swarms of them!
