2012-07-08 Badge Test and School Holidays!

Aiysha: I had my Badge Test on Saturday, and I passed! I was pretty pleased with my routine, especially my bars and my back flips on the floor. I hope you enjoy the video of me!

I got an awesome report, and got an 'A' in Maths! The rest of my report was fab, and I was very pleased.

Grace had her party on Sunday, and it was a roller skating party! It was fun, and I skated a lot with Lucy Shaw, who used to be in my gym group.

Daddy found this picture of me on the sled in France - we all miss skiing so much!

Clara: I was really happy with my report! I brought my portfolio home, and was so proud of all the work I had done when I went through it with Mummy and Daddy!

C: So proud of my girls this term - they did so well!

S: Well done Aiysh on a great gym comp, and both of you on a great term!

2012-06-28 I AM 10!

Aiysha: I am so excited I am 10! Mummy made 44 cakes for me to take into school and give to people, and I had so many presents to open in the morning and when I came home from gym.

Clara has been soooo special, and she has made me feel so special.

Thank you everyone for all your presents! I love them all! I opened all of them on Thursday, and they lasted all day! Thank you!

At my party people (Lauren, Charlie, Martina, Lucy, Grace, Kiera, Georgia, Clara - Hannah G and Rebecca could not make it, which was such a shame) arrived after I came home from gym. We cut Mummy's amazing cake (a handbag), and then we played some games (leading the blind, opening presents, musical bobs). The limo came at 6.30, and it was amazing! We were all so excited, and everyone was running round screaming! The driver took us to Kings Part and back, and it was so funny! We pretended to be really posh and did karaoke! When we came back we had burgers, sausages and chips, then more games (Balloonio, catch in the dark, chocolate game). We loved catch in the dark, and wanted to play it all night, but we watched a film before bed at 11.30. We got up, and had a Balloonio tournament. What an amazing party, I loved every minute of it!

Clara: I am so excited that it is Aiysha's birthday! She opened my presents last, and loved every single one of them! I am so happy for her!

I loved the limo, and loved that Aiysha let me invite Georgia! I stayed up with all the big girls, but ended up sleeping in my own bed - it all got a bit much.

Mummy and Daddy took us to the beach at the weekend as it was really nice. Aiysha and I did loads of gymnastics! It was so much fun!

C: The limo was crazy! A great party for everyone!

S: Fantastic party! Loved it!

2012-06-26 Harveys, Mater Dei and Daddy Helper

Aiysha: We had our first Interschool Netball tournament, and it was hard. Every team we played against was older. We drew the first one, and lost the other 3, but I was really proud playing against older players and playing each game!

The lapathon was cancelled because of the rain, but I had to sit out because of my knee. I didn't mind too much.

We did our first winter walk around Edgewater from our house, which was nice as we took the netball and practiced passing. We also stopped at the park and did gymnastics.

Mummy went out Saturday night, so we had the Harveys round until Nick picked them up. We made lemonade using our own lemons, and then played soldiers and pillow fights. It was really funny!

I've been accepted into Mater Dei! Wahoo!

Spent all week and this week doing my birthday preparations - I can't wait, and I still don't know what I want!

I made a presentation making pancakes - little did I know that I would get a prize from Mrs Tombs (Headmistress) for it! I also had to try them out with sugared strawberries - yummy!

Clara: I did 32 laps of the lapathon - I was so proud!

Daddy came to do Parent Helper on Monday, and it was really funny. I loved it, even though the boys were really naughty. I wanted to do everything perfect for Daddy - answer all the questions, get my name on the board, win my running race, an do mu best writing. I missed one word out and got a little upset, but it was great having him there! Daddy liked the pirates game the best.

C: Night out at Hillary's Caroline birthday. Quite tame really...no dramas, no gossip :-( She got a steam mop though.

I also got some flowers from someone special...

S: Australia 3-0 Wales. Great being Daddy helper - so proud of Clara!

2012-06-18 3 Little Pigs, Camels and a Leaky Roof!

Aiysha: I had my 3 little pigs assembly this week - Mummy could not come and watch, but Daddy came and videoed the whole play. I was pretty nervous before hand, and a dog ran through the assembly hall in the middle of our play, but I really enjoyed it and remembered all my lines.

This week the games room flooded really badly, and we had to move all our stuff out until the builders came along.

Lauren got Aussie of the Month - I was really pleased for her.

I had the nicest sticky date pudding when we went to a winery in Kalamunda after our camel ride. I could not stop eating it!

Clara: It is cold, but I still don't like wearing leggings! We actually had a tornado in Perth, which was pretty scary, and lots of people had no electricity. Lucky for us we did, and unlucky for us because school was not cancelled. Boo!

My gymnastics skills are getting so good now with Aiysha teaching me. Daddy took this video of me, but I can do things even better now!

We went on the best camel ride in Kalamunda and I got a certificate, fed the camels and the goats. We actually rode through the bush! It was so much fun. Aiysha and I went on one camel, and Mummy and Daddy went on the other. The man who took us rode the 7 desserts of WA with 2 camels, which took over a whole year!

C: Leaking roof, not again! Yummy cake though!

S: Prometheus - oh dear...

2012-06-07 Merit Certificate & Rain

Aiysha: I got my first Merit Certificate this week, and it said my work is always to an really good standard. Neither Mummy or Daddy could make it, but I understand. They are saving themselves for either gym or my assembly!

On Sunday we went to see Mary Poppins with Mummy, and Lauren and Carolyn. It was really good, and Mummy really enjoyed it! It had people flying and walking upside down on the roof - a bit like what Daddy made me do in Thrall Street!

We had Monday as a holiday, and we did a really long Bike Ride to Leapfrogs where they had a nice warm fire, but me and Roxy still had an ice cream! I did lots of gymnastics, and the the best no handed cartwheel and no handed back flip!

It is going to rain all week, and it is really raining now!

Clara: I loved Mary Poppins! We had loads of treats to eat too!

I am still practicing my one handed cartwheel, and perfecting my handstand. Aiysha is teaching me how to do a bridge from standing, but that is pretty difficult. She says I have a very flexible back. I think I have a great teacher.

Aiysha and I made up this game - kind of like crazy tag, where we run around, tag, and say 'no tag back' even though we do.

I helped Daddy Made our own pasta - it was really fun, and we got to make the place really messy! Aiysha joined in when we started rolling the pasta, and she really enjoyed it! And you know what? It was soooo yummy!

The rain is sooo heavy!

C: Trimming hedges! Especially in Arthurs area! We finally finished our LED installation, and it looks great, along with our new toilet!

I loved Mary Poppin! We should go to the theatre more often!

S:  No Mary Poppins for me.
