2012-06-26 Harveys, Mater Dei and Daddy Helper
Aiysha: We had our first Interschool Netball tournament, and it was hard. Every team we played against was older. We drew the first one, and lost the other 3, but I was really proud playing against older players and playing each game!
The lapathon was cancelled because of the rain, but I had to sit out because of my knee. I didn't mind too much.
We did our first winter walk around Edgewater from our house, which was nice as we took the netball and practiced passing. We also stopped at the park and did gymnastics.
Mummy went out Saturday night, so we had the Harveys round until Nick picked them up. We made lemonade using our own lemons, and then played soldiers and pillow fights. It was really funny!
I've been accepted into Mater Dei! Wahoo!
Spent all week and this week doing my birthday preparations - I can't wait, and I still don't know what I want!
I made a presentation making pancakes - little did I know that I would get a prize from Mrs Tombs (Headmistress) for it! I also had to try them out with sugared strawberries - yummy!
Clara: I did 32 laps of the lapathon - I was so proud!
Daddy came to do Parent Helper on Monday, and it was really funny. I loved it, even though the boys were really naughty. I wanted to do everything perfect for Daddy - answer all the questions, get my name on the board, win my running race, an do mu best writing. I missed one word out and got a little upset, but it was great having him there! Daddy liked the pirates game the best.
C: Night out at Hillary's Caroline birthday. Quite tame really...no dramas, no gossip :-( She got a steam mop though.
I also got some flowers from someone special...
S: Australia 3-0 Wales. Great being Daddy helper - so proud of Clara!
