We tried to keep this trip a secret from Daddy because of his birthday, but Tracey let it slip out when she brought her mice round. Doh!
We did so much in Dunsborough, it was great, and so exciting!
We stayed in Three Bears Cottage, and it was lovely! The rooms were amazing, and it was so nice to be able to cook dinner, chat and play some games at night time. We even explored the garden, which had a brook in it which we crossed using a fallen tree!
We saw Humpback whales off the coast every day - it was quite amazing. Apparently, there were 130,000 whales migrating, even Blue Whales!
Daddy took us to Wyadup to show us where him and Uncle Dave went swimming with a pod of dolphins, and when we got there, we saw them! It was so cool. There was a surfer who suddenly saw them, and he rushed out thinking it was a shark - it was funny for us, but scary for him! Canal Rocks was also lovely, and the sea was pretty wild there.
After taking Daddy whale watching on the boat, we also went kayaking along the coast, and it was beautiful! Roxy Roo went with Daddy round the huge rock! It was a better attempt than when Daddy tried to launch off the beach and almost fell in! Roxy and Daddy did fall in first time though, which was funny.
On one of our trips out, we had a picnic on a lookout over a beach, and then we went down and did gymnastics on the beach. It was really funny, and we got some great photos. We also had a picnic looking out from Yallingup and played eye spy while we ate some bacon bread from the local bakery - it was lovely. We had a lovely lunch at Eagle Bay Wineries, and also at Clancy's Fish bar. We cooked our own dinners on the BBQ and ate around the bench.
We discovered a new game called Wildlife, where we played a DVD and had to answer questions on the video - it was really bad, but really funny at the same time. It took us 3 nights to get through just one game! Mummy and Clara won, but it was a close one!
One of the coolest things we did was do archery when we were there - funny, because we were also listening to The Hunger Games - Catching Fire audio book, which was really good. We all loved the archery!
We did some lovely walks to see the Kangaroos on the plain above out property, and Daddy went out running, even though he had an injured calf.
We did stop off at the Miami Bakery on the way down and back up, but we didn't get to have any donuts either way - what a shame!
