2016-04-10 Interschool Carnival, Food Festival, Climbing, Dance Night, and BF in Madurah!

Clara: Wow, I never thought I would have bounced back like I did in the interschool carnivals! Last year I didn't win any events, and came second for all of them. This year in the long throw, I came first by a long way, and I also won the long jump. Daddy and I did a lot of training for the sprints, and I was so happy to win my sprint against the girls who beat me last year!

We did our assembly, and it was all about bouncing back! Our theme in the assembly was Harry Potter, and how Joanne bounced back from being turned down 11 times!

For my treat, I chose to go to The Hangout climbing centre - it was really good, and it was really hard! We managed to get up to level 16 - I had trouble on the orange ones, and Aiysha and Daddy finally managed to get up the orange run after several attempts. I can't wait to go there again!

I was only one of 25 performers at the Gail Meade dance night, and I did an acro number that Aiysha helped me perform to Counting Stars. I was so proud of myself, and I felt brave that I did the best acro moves on the night!

Aiysha: I am allowed to be back at gym, but only a few routines, and not all of them.

We had a Westcoasters parents vs players night - it was so much fun playing against Dad. At one point, we were both Centers marking each other! I think we matched each other pretty well.

We went out to the food festival in town - it was meant to be a noodle festival, but seemed to have all sorts of BBQ and noodles. Driving in we saw so much lightening, but we luckily didn't have any rain until half way through the festival, and then it absolutely poured down! It was so funny, and at one point we lost Daddy! Clara was really sad, but we soon found him when he rang us in the rain! We ran back to our car, and went home.

It was sooo much fun, and a great adventure!

Great dance Rox! You did so well!

C: While they went climbing, I did DIY! Arthur would be proud!

Stormy and windy! Nice change, but hope it brightens up for our trip to Bunker Bay!

Well done Clara in your dance and your athletics - we are sooo proud of you!

S: Aiysha was belaying me on the climbing wall for the first time! It was so nice to be able to climb again! I just wish my shoes fit!

The food festival was fun - chicken wings, satays, ribs, noodles, sliders - amazing!

Amazing performance Rocky Roo! Shame I got a speeding ticket :-(

Great fun at Julian's place in Mandurah - we had breakfast watching the dolphins and canoed to lunch! Amanzing!
