2017-01-03 Our UK Tour - Part 1: Perth To Leicester / Our Second Christmas

It was amazing to be finally back in England after 3 years!

Bob picked us up from Manchester with some snacks, but we could not help ourselves and bought a load more Walkers and chocolates! England do junk food really well!

It took forever to get home - the traffic was awful, it was sunny but the freezing fog held things up - it took us around 3 hours on top of our plane journey. But we didn't mind, as we were finally back.

We all went to Lowbarn, and it was lovely to see everyone - Sue, Arthur, Lizzie and Bella. Grandad Brian arrived a bit later, and we all had a lovely dinner together and gave out a lot of presents - it was so nice!

Highlights:
  • Bella! And Lizzie and Nick of course!
  • All the Grand folk!
  • Shopping at Fosse Park
  • Run on New Years Day - Rox and Daddy
  • Seeing Leicester play Saracens at rugby with Paish, Daddy and Nick! Very cold!
  • Rox and Paish staying in the usual attic room - they loved it!
  • Sitting round the table with everyone at meal time
  • Red Leicester cheese!
  • Dancing away on New Years Eve!
  • Staying the night at Lutterworth - we didn't go for a night time walk in the end...
  • Feeling cold again
  • Saying hello to Desmond
Rally nice to see Grandma Sik again, and she was unable to join us for any activities. We went to visit here a number of times though which she liked.

It was soo much fun, and wish we could stay for longer! Next - London!
