2017-08-06 Avon Descent! Inter-Faction Cross Country! Burning Fruit Win Again!

Clara: I was so nervous about the inter-faction cross country, but I managed to win it! I was so relieved, and I also got a great time too! It even beat the boys time up to the day, which was cool, but the boys set an even better time on the day. I was happy.

We went to watch the Avon Descent while Aiysha went to work, and it was really fun! We got there, and the only way we could get to Bells Rapids was to take a rickety old bus (just happen to be Belridge Bus Company), and it shuttled us to the rapids. We made our sandwiches by the river as we played sweet and sour with the speedboats and the canoeists. It was really funny. We walked across the bridge, went on the swing and did some rock climbing.

I had a temperature that I perhaps caught off Aiysha - just a shame it happened at the weekend. I ended up missing netball, even though we won, but did go down and watch.

I love going to Yelo after PEAC, and sitting on the bench watching the sea - even though it can be a bit cold!

Aiysha: I also had a couple of days off school as I had a temperature. I did recover enough to play netball though. We lost to Paua Rose which was a shame - I felt we could have won it.

C: I was hoping to see some competitors cap-size, and they did! It was pretty exciting!

S: I may compete in the Descent one day. Those speed boats look fun! We won another award at the Joondalup Business Association - Best Customer Service! Wahoo!
