2018-09-01 Netball Finals Week 1 - Sorrento, Emerging Force, Running Club, Sunny Again for Fathers Day!

Clara: What a day! We started off going with Daddy to running club with Matt helping me with my technique. He has been helping me over the past couple of weeks with my technique, and it is really making a difference!

We came back to recover and do a bit of shooting, and then we headed off for our first finals game against Sorrento Saints! What a game - we were down by 1 after the first quarter, and equal after the first half. I played WA for the first half, and then moved into GA in Q3, and then GS in Q4, and by the end we managed to beat them by 7! It was such a great feeling, considering we never beat them during the proper season. Everlast Flames lost badly to Hammersley, so we play Everlast next week. That should be very interesting.

Dancing, then Latitude with Matilda! I was pooped by the end of the day, but it was awesome!

We took Daddy out for a BBQ at Picnic Cove, then played 2 hours of table tennis while Mummy and Paish went home. It was fun, apart from the long walk home! We then took Daddy to a Korean Restaurant in West Perth - it wasn't my kind of taste, and the waitress kept on cooking and serving us - we wanted to do it ourselves!

We gave Daddy some chocolate, bird seed and a handy compass bracelet that can start fires - awesome for his long walks!

Aiysha: We had to go to dinner at Jai's house for his parents to meet the Dunsborough crew - it was a fun evening! I even saw my poster on the way in Padbury!

I got selected for the Emerging Force, and our first session was on Friday - I surprised myself by coming 2nd in the fitness, but it was great seeing a lot of the girls I already know. Exciting!

Mummy's picture with Lizzie when they were young is here - WHAT THE!

C: The most brilliant game! Well don Rox, it was awesome!

S: What a netball game! I couldn't even sit down. Went for a beautiful walk along Burns Beach! Winter is almost gone!

Thanks guys for an awesome Fathers Day! It was funny!
