What a day! We started off the day with a promise - we said we were going to run on New Years Day, and today was the day! We decided to do a run along the river, and see how we went. We decided to go that extra mile and run 3km out and back, which made 6km - it was pretty hard going, but really satisfying! We did some exercises, and also watched some other runners who were pretty fit!
Breakfast was once again amazing - croissants and baguettes!
Mummy then took us on a bit of a surprise...we hired electric mini-cars to go around Rome following GPS to iconic landmarks across the city! Wow, scary stuff. Mummy started off driving with Paish, but was a little slow, and Paish was getting frustrated. Quite soon after, Paish swapped cars and soon Daddy was zipping around the streets leading the way. It was so much fun, and we got to so many landmarks! It really felt like a video game, and we didn't hesitate going down the cobbled streets at full speed.
Half way we stopped next to a castle to have our nicest lunch of the holiday - carbonara, seafood spaghetti and pizza - amazing!
