2020-01-18 Touch Rugby Finals, Down South

C: Me, Grandma and Grandpa went down south to Pemberton for a few days. It was lovely, and we did a few trips:
  • Pemberton Tram Ride - Grandpa loved that!
  • Mount Chudalup
  • Salmon Beach - couldn't swim as there was a dead whale and there were pesky sharks hanging around
  • Windy Harbour
  • Climbed Gloucester, but not very high
  • Lots of pioneer museums - the best one was in Northcliffe
We stayed in a rammed earth property and Grandpa went to meet the owner. We had picnics every day and cooked each night before looking at the stars. Grandpa loved making his log fires each night, even though it was 30 degrees!

Clara: We had our touch rugby finals - we were to play Bopers in the semi finals, and then Legacy. We were very nervous going into the Bopers game, but we played so well and all our moves came off and we won by about 11-3, which was awesome!

It was really hot by the time we played Legacy, and we made a lot of mistakes at the start of the game that cost us a few touch downs. In the end, we never really got going and we lost by quite a few. If only we played like we did against Bopers! I'm sure we'll get them next time! Overall though, we had an amazing season and it was fun having Dad coach us some really cool moves!

Aiysha: I wish I had seen the final - I had to train for Super W.

We had an awesome day at the beach where it was so clear and I took Dad's camera out. It was amazing!

S: Great season guys! You'll beat them next year!
