2020-02-16 My 13th Party Weekend, WA vs Brumbies, Perth Festival

Clara: I was so excited for my birthday! I was sad that Aiysha couldn't be here, but I was so excited to watch her play the Brunbies on International televsion! I had to go to school unfortunately, but I got picked up early to go to Ross's funeral. It was very sad, but Dad and I held hands the whole time and we remembered all the fun times we had with Ross! He will always be with us. Dad then surprised me with dumplings at Authentic Bites and they hit the spot!

Dad then gave me a letter saying that he is going to surprise me with something else for my birthday. I had no idea what it was! We drove for a while to City Beach where I found out  was going to be getting a spring suit! I was so excited and Dad helped me find the perfect one! I have already worn it, even though its the middle of summer!

After the surprise outing with Dad, we went to Quinns beach with Mum and Callie and had an amazing time! Callie was so well behaved and playful with all the dogs! We all had so much fun and it was a great end to my 13th birthday! I lay in the water while the sun set and it was lovely! We then went to get fish and chips by the sea and met a groodle like Winston! What an awesome day!

On Saturday, we watched Aiysha's game and she was amazing as scrum half! I'm such a proud sister! Aaliyah and Chloe came over for a sleepover and we had lots of fun with Callie, in the pool and of course making tik toks! We went down to emerald park to walk Callie and Winston and Buster where there and they had lots or races together. Callie is by far the fastest! They were all chasing Winston's ball when some birds flew past and Callie chased them all the way to the other side of the oval and I dived to stop her just before the road! I had such a scare and took a while to recover! Callie had lots of fun though! We had chicken nibbles for dinner and watched The Purge and there where lost of screams!

Aaliyah, Chloe and I woke up early on Sunday to get ready for the boat trip! We set of heading to Maylands where our boat was waiting for us. What a wonderful trip! It was dog friendly as well and Callie had a ball! Dad was the skipper and we stopped off at a jetty where we jumped off. I did a backsault, but the others were to scared! We got an ice-cream and Callie met some crazy dogs. We then ventured on to our next stop, during that time we got in trouble for getting to close to the shore! We next stopped at another jetty and we swam out to a buoy. We headed down the river and had a few more swims and then we had to head back. It was such an awesome way to celebrate my birthday, I loved it! We picked up Aiysha on the way home and dropped my friends back and had a relaxing evening with a lovely sweet sauce chicken to finish the day.

What a weekend! Had an awesome time!

Aiysha: I was so nervous and excited about playing scrum half at Super W. It was a very tough game because I don't think we were conditioned enough for game situations where the other teams have all had trial games. I had to make a lot of tackles on big people, which I suppose I'm going to have to get use to. It was a good confidence builder for the next game though. Me and Dad went through the game when I got back, and we made a list of things to aim for this week ready for a tough Reds game next week. I'm excited!

I got picked up from Claudia's house after they went on their boat ride - sounded like fun!

Sweet sauce chicken!

C: Amazing game Paish! So proud of you! Happy Birthday Rox! Thank you for such an awesome day, and a shame Paish couldn't join us!

S: You did so well for your first game at Scrum Half, but you're going to smash it in your next games! I can't wait. You are so brave.

Went to see Paul Kelly and his bird poems turned to music - absolutely amazing!
