Paish: Went to Katana Ramen, and Dad told me about his week of not being able to run 3 evenings in a row as he could not breathe! I could not believe he did not go to the hospital already, so I dragged him to Joondalup Emergency - there was a 4 hour wait, so we decided to go to St. John in the morning and they advised that he gets his bloods down at ER...
S: Well, Paish did the right thing. Over the past 3 evenings, I've tried to go running, but could not breathe after the first lap! I thought it was a chest cold or smoke as there has been a bush fire, but Paish took me to ER after our Ramen.
After St. John, we looked for the ER with the shortest queues - we found Royal Perth in town, and that was rally convenient as we could go straight to the Force game. Nope - "You're not going anywhere Stephen." And hence I had to stay the night and be under observation after all my tests were done - what a drag, but very interesting seeing all the other patients. I'm glad it was only one night though.
Mummy, Paish and Jaxson came to visit me in the evening which was nice - Mummy got Shish Bash Moroccan for us - it was yummy! We were intending to go to Szechuan. Boo.
In the end, they found a number of blood clots in my lungs, and they prescribed blood thinners, but also scanned my chest for cancer - all clear. My follow ups for abdominal and pelvic scans were clear too, which was a relief. Much be something else then!
The Force didn't win :-(
Mummy: Surely it was just a chest cold! Oops! Poor Doody!
Rox: So sorry I could not visit Dad! I'm so glad you're okay!
