S: I had no idea where we were going, and secondly whether Blue Bau was coming with us! Of course she was! Then as we got coffee at Wisteria, Moomis told me we were going to Bremer Bay! Wow! I was so excited! I was hanging out for a long drive somewhere, and really really wanted to see whales! So cool!
We drove down at around 11am on Sunday, and it was such a pretty drive. Not our normal drive down south, but we had to take a different route towards Esperance, then to Albany, then to Bremer Bay. We arrived just as the sun was setting at around 6.30, but we stopped in a couple of places - a bakery where we had an amazing quiche and toastie, and then to get some snakkie whakkies! It was so much fun going on a road trip again, I've really missed it.
Our place was amazing! We were literally overlooking the sea at Short Beach! We unpacked quickly, then walked down to our beach. Squeaky Sand! It was amazing! We let Bau off the lead, and we walked in the moonlight and took some awesome pics!
We had Ken Hom prawns, cheesecake, and then played Scrabble. It was so relaxing.
Well done Kroubs, very very cool plan! I had no idea.
C: Our place is amazing!

On Monday, we started with a walk on our beach with a drone shot of Moomy walking down, then we headed to Point Henry and we saw some seals, and a glimpse of a whale way out.
Then we went to Blossoms Beach where we drove onto the beach for a walk. It was so cool. Then Native Dog Beach where we parked up top, walked, then took another drone shot round the corner of the next beach as it was pretty rough. Then drove round to Bremer Bay after coffee and cake at the Orca's coffee van. It was such an amazing beach, and we walked quite a way then headed back. I attempted a wing foil, but there was no wind - boo! We then drove to Gordon's Inlet which was very calm, and it took us forever to go back along the 4WD back home.
What a day! We saw kangaroos, bull ants, strange birds, lizards, seals, whales (we think!), and it was sunny!
