2011-05-03 MY LEG! Mummy's 40! Easter!
Aiysha: I was having a great time with Joe on the sand dunes, but unfortunately a fence wire caught my leg and sliced my knee open. I was pretty shocked, but was brave when I went to hospital holding my cut together. The doctor took a while, but finally got 8 stitches - but the injections hurt the most! I hope to play in the first netball match next week though! I've been training pretty well.
No back saults for a week! What will I do! The day before I was doing round-off double back-saults with Daddy at Neil Hawkins Park, and I was so pleased!
I got my new bike this weekend! an Apollo with cool gears - took a bit of getting use to, but on our ride to Neil Hawkins I got the hand of it, and rode up our hill - it was great!
Mummy's 40th Party was amazing! She really didn't realise until the very last minute! People stayed until 11.30! We had pool games, playstation, gymnastics, loads of home cooked food, and lovely people! It was so exciting keeping a secret for so long! AND I got to stay the night at Joes, AND Hanna Geneve got to stay the night with us! In the morning we had a lovely breakfast, tidied up a little, and did a few errands with Hanna around all our friends.
When we went up to Bells Rapids, we almost gave the surprise away when we met Sarah, and she had to pretend she wasn't doing anything for Mummy's birthday! Of all the people we could have met, it had to be someone coming to the party! Funny!
Lauren came over for a day too, which was great fun! I love my friends!
Clara: I'm learning how to ride Aiysha's blue bike, and I'm almost there! Daddy is letting me go for longer and longer, and it feels great! Won't be long until I am on my own racing against Paish!
I'm sad for Paish cutting her leg open. I hope she will be okay.
I loved Mummy's party! I got a bit upset in the pool when everyone jumped on me, but I got a headstart in the end, and won the game against Lauren!
I loved Easter though - we got loads of treats, had a hunt after seeing easter bunny's footsteps, and spent most of the day thinking about what egg to eat next.
C: I loved my party! I was buzzing for days after - I can't believe all my friends were there! What a funny (and naughty) bunch!
Caroline organised it all with Steve, Tracey took me out as a decoy, Penny made the cake, Gavin made lasagne, Steve made sausage rolls and chicken wings, Nick looked after the barbie, Joan made her salad. Everyone pitched in. Thank you!
Poor Paish!
S: Man, that was stressful setting up for the party, but all good in the end. We had to keep texting Tracey to delay her arrival! And people were still arriving when Claire arrived! Roslyn had to run in - funny! Caroline was amazing! What a team!
Poor Paish!
