What a jump!
Woke early for breakfast and we managed to catch an early boat to go snorkling to see manta rays. Man, the waves were HUGE! The biggest we've ever been in, and it did seem very strange (it turns out an earthquake hit soon after we left the island, and boat trips were stopped). It was pretty scary stuff, and Mummy was not happy at all!
The first drop off point was crazy - we thought we were going to get smashed up against the cliffs. Our driver just turned to us and say "Okay!". Er, we don't think so matey...We moved onto the second drop off point which was slightly better, and we all went in - it was better when we got in, and Paish and Rox immediately saw a manta ray and Paish got some amazing footage! Out snorkel didn't last long, and Paish and Dad started to feel very ill. We went to a third drop off point, and then to calmer waters around the other side of Crystal Bay. Amazing fish and coral, but still pretty rough.
We eventually went back to Crystal Bay and we dropped Roxy and Paish off to snorkel while we went in. It wasn't long until they got washed up by huge waves onto the beach, losing a fin! Roxy got wiped out, but we found her fin - crazy times!
We went home to recover, and Daddy slept, and we all had lunch - club sandwich - nice!
We left at 1pm to go to Temelin Forest. It was a nice 30 minute walk down and we saw some amazing forest, leaves, coastline, rock temples and canyons. We spent a while watching the coastline and waves, and eventually got to the pools. The womens pool was closed and we saw some boys jumping off the cliffs in the mens pool. After a while, Paish and I decided to do the same - it was so cool! Daddy went first in a sitting position, and survived, then they both did standing jumps twice - it was so much fun!
We granted Paish's wish, and we got scooters all the way up. There were some arguments between who was taking us. Daddy fell off his scooter with his ride - not great. Paish thought it was the best!
Daddy and Paish went for a walk to do backsaults on the road. Relaxing evening.
What a day!
