Rox: What the heck!? I've been selected to play in the Youth Commonwealth Games 2023 in Trinidad and Tobago - Trinbago - in August! This is 3 weeks after AusCamp - that is crazy! This time last year I was playing with Wanneroo in Tact! I can't believe it, and I am a bit nervous about it. We had a team meeting this week, and the announcement happened this week too - I got a lot of congrats from people which was really nice. Looking forward to meeting the team though, that should settle my nerves!
I went away to camp this week - we did so much bike riding that my calf has been feeling really good. I hope it will be good enough for Friday as I play Aaliyah!
And it was - I managed to play just over 2 quarters, and we won comfortably. We also played Peel Lightening again, and won fairly well. I managed to play most of the game too, which was good. My leg is definitely getting better!

Paish: First game of the season against Cottesloe - I was playing 9 and was not too keen, but ended up really enjoying the game. We played so well for the first game of the season, and we scored twice - Cara scored a great try on the wing, and the Jenna popped a ball to me to score, which I really enjoyed. So many debuts today, so a lot to be positive about. I hope I manage to swap positions around though - we could have such a good back line!

Dave went to see Johnny P in Laos last week - looked fun, and he got to speak at the Women's rugby dinner! That is cool!
Had a night-time run with Bau at Quinns - scary, cold, and fun!
C: Amazing game Rox - very convincing wins against Warriors and Peel! Hopefully now you will make finals!
Bau: A bit nervous for the night time beach run! It was fun though!
