2009-09-11 Circus, State Champs and Daddys Day!

Aiysha:
We went to the circus! It was brilliant! I was so excited, and it was everything I thought it would be! It was called the Circus Joseph Ashton, and it was on at Joondalup. It had animals, gymnastics, amazing apparatus which spun round the whole tent, jugglers, amazing lights, clowns and the best thing - Miniature Ponies! Roxy could not stop talking about them, and we got to go on them in the interval! It was really fun!

I also had my State Championship Gymnastic competition, and it was really good fun. It was on a Friday, so I had to miss some school too! Unfortunately, I fell off the beam even though I practiced loads at home, but I will get it right for next time. Daddy said my floor routine was amazing, and that I was really graceful. I got the best in my team for that. Overall, our team came second, and I came 4th on the bars, and 5th on the floor! I love getting medals and ribbons!

Clogger started her swimming lessons, and after she got upset in the first lesson, she is so brave now! I am so proud of her when she goes underwater and dives in. She can almost do the splits too! She is going to be a really good dancer, gymnast and swimmer!

I have been training with Daddy over the past few weeks for my School Carnival. We have been training on a slope, and now we are going to the school oval to practice. Last week, I raced Mummy 5 times, and beat her everytime! I still cannot beat Daddy, but he better watch out!

I have been for a few plays with people too! I am so busy! At Laurens, she has got so many motor toys that it is so much fun! I love going on her motor bike, as it is pink, and I go really fast on it! I have to wear my helmet too! I also went to Martina's for a play, but she got a bit upset when I left. Lauren, Tiana and Cameron have also been to mine for a play.

On Father's Day we had so many surprises for Daddy! He loved his presents, even though they were for me and Mummy - chocolate and chutney, but he loved his cards and Cloggers table mat. We then went to the Swan Valley, and went to the Chocolate Factory. We ate quite a few, but didn't buy anything. We decided to go to an Illusionary Art museum, and Daddy got talking to the artist. They were quite amazing metal paintings though, and they moved when you walked past them depending on the light. Daddy and Mummy said they had never seen anything like that before, and neither had I. We then went to Lilly In The Valley, a really peaceful cafe and we had scones and drinks. We got home late for Roxy's sleep, and then we took Daddy to his surprise dinner at Arirang Korean. Daddy and Mummy loved it, and I did not think I would, but I ate loads! I loved the deep fried ice-cream too! Happy Fathers Day Daddy!

I love the Go Girl! books! I have read so many of them now, and can't wait to get more!

Grandma sent us a baby picture - we had no idea who it was, but Mummy found the picture, and it was Clog. Daddy was not happy he got it wrong.

Clogger: Last week when we dropped Lauren off, Daddy and I went to a park with a small hill! I said to Daddy "Can we go up the mountain?", and so we did, and it was really windy! Daddy found me some leaves, and I threw them up in the air and we watched them fly in the wind! It was really funny, and we ran up and down the mountain so many times! It was fun!

I loved the miniature ponies! I wanted to ride them all day, and told Mummy that. I was sad that I could not.

I am getting more brave in my swimming lessons, and I am starting to enjoy them now, I think! I can't wait to swim in our own pool!

C: Busy, busy busy! I can't wait to be on holiday! only 3 weeks to go! We need to spend more time in the Swan Valley - it is sooo close!

S: Had the best Fathers Day ever! It was so funny, and so many surprises! Thank you!

Friday
Clog had to go to hospital as she could not go to the toilet. After loads of trying, she finally did one in the hospital, which was

rock solid - nice!

Saturday
We flew out early Saturday, and noticed the heat straight away! Lovely! Someone almost stole our taxi too! When we got our car, we

went shopping, but also had a late lunch at Zoo Cafe. We had tapas, steak s/w, fish, and it was amazing! We were all so tired, and we

got to bed pretty quickly. We met Grant, Mel, Millie, Neve, who were our neighbours - they seem really nice! Clara did manage to do a

poo, in a very unusual place! Mummy knows all about it.

Aiysha's Journal We have our own car and we are going to stay in Habitat Resort. Me and Clara are sharing a room and we left on a Saturday. We will come back on a Friday. At the Habitat Resort they have a pool and it is hotter at Broome. Every night I get to stay up late. There is a park in the Habitat Resort. We will go swimming in the swimming pool. Before we went we packed our suitcases. I put in my: - toothbrush and toothpaste - a few jackets and jumpers - some jeans - some shorts - some things - some skirts - my pj or my nightie - my dressing gown - my sleeping socks - my money - a few colouring books - pens and pencils - my journal - t-shirts and long sleeved t-shirts - Swimming clothes - snacks - knickers - boots - dresses and hats My Mummy and Daddy are sharing a room. The pool has a slide down into the pool. It is pretty small and Clara brought her: - Armbands - toothbrush and toothpaste - hats - jackets and jumpers - a few skirts - a few shorts - t-shirts - a few long sleeved t-shirts - dresses and knickers - snacks - boots - swimming clothes - clara's day clothes for night time - her nightie that we call a dress On the plane it was very noisy and me and Daddy sat next to each other. Mummy and Clara sat next to each other. Me and Daddy drew funny pictures. On the plane I got blocked ears. When we went to the beach we saw hermit crabs. I named one Sammy. I met 2 girls - their names were Milly and Neve. Millie's real name is Amelia.

Sunday
We woke up 6.30 and Clogger and I watched ABC Kids. There were also some bombs in Jakarta, Indonesia, which was a bit sad. We walked to Hermit crab beach, and it was amazing how many hermit crabs there were! Daddy went to take a picture of a tree - not very interesting. We went into the cold pool with the rugby ball, but it was fun playing volleyball.
We had a big sausage for lunch! In the afternoon, We played with Neve and Milly while Grant and Mel had a tea with Mummy and Daddy. We went to see a sunset on a on a deserted beach, which was amazing! We had sweet sauce chicken for dinner - yummy!
Clara had a tantrum which hurt my ears. She always does that!

Monday
When we got up, we played the catching game with Milly and Neve and Daddy, which was funny! We went to the Tourist Center, and picked up some postcards. We then went to the Mango Place, and did the rainbow tour where we read a map to find all the different fruit trees in the orchard (Clog was a bit annoying!). It was really hot, so we got a slushy after. Clog slept on the way to Town beach, and Mummy and I swam while Daddy took more photos - not very interesting.

We had a Chicken sandwich at home after Roebucks fish shop where we got some Thread Fin, and Daddy made some lovely fish which Mummy and Daddy called Gubinge Fish after a funny road name in Broome - strange people those parents!

Daddy and I went for a quick swim before our camel ride in the afternoon, which was amazing, even though some people on the beach were not wearing any clothes! Just like me at home! We then played at Cable Beach after, then I went with Millie, Neve, Grant to hermit crab beach. More Gubinge Fish for dinner - yummy!

Aiysha Journal On Monday we went on a camel. On the plane I got chocolate. I got a swirly whirly and a small chocolate. Once with Milly and Neve we got 2 pieces of chocolate. When we rode the camels we rode them on the beach. I sat next to Daddy on the camels, and Mummy sat next to Clara on the camels. It was very bumpy when it went down and up. On the camels there were lots of camels and other people rode them too.

Tuesday
Up early again today at 6.15 to watch the Mr Men and News. We then played Kingball with the girls.

We went to Entrance Point where we did a rock walk, a croc hunt, a challenge to reach the furthest rock - there were some big waves, and we got cut off a few times, which was fun! We then went to Gantheaume Point where we saw eagles, rock layers, huge waves, and a chimney!

We had a BBQ lunch - steak s/w, sausage, and played Cluedo while Rocker was asleep - Daddy won unfortunately.

We then went to Cable Beach to build castles, had some roles, Daddy went for a run, looked for crocs, did some running races, and saw a wedding!

More Gubinge Fish, and then played some night ball games with all girls on their last night. We took some photos too!

Wednesday
Up early again. and played more games with Millie & Neve. We waved goodbye to Purseys as they drove off - they were fun! I hope to see them in Perth sometime! We went to China Town, went around the Pearl Luggers museum, and then to a bead shop. Nice place! We had Bacon and Eggs for lunch, and I brought a drink out for Daddy without being asked! I was very proud.

We went to the Croc Farm tour, which was pretty hot and scary, but I managed to have an ice cream, and hold a baby croc!

Steaks for dinner.

Aiysha's Journal Milly and Neve left today. I ate 6 things for breakfast. I ate: - 3 pieces of raisin toast - Yoghurt with strawberries - 2 sweet milk breads There were lots of crocodiles at the beach. There was a crocodile at Cable Beach. It was 4m long. Milly and Neve told us. It was on a Tuesday. On Monday we went to Redell beach, there was a crocodile, but we did not see it. Today we went to China Town. We bought a present for Danielle and Lucy. Today we went to see the crocodiles. I held one of the crocodiles but they had a lacky band around it's mouth and it was a baby one. A man fed the crocodiles. I think Bluey was the biggest. We got an ice cream. I had a chocolate ice cream, Clara got a Fruju Icy Pole, and Daddy got a twin pole. Mummy did not have anything. We had dinner out.

Thursday We finally managed to get a big 4WD car from Core Fleet, found Daddy's bank card, then drove to Willie Creek on some dusty roads. We had carrot cake and I stole some biscuits. There were so many lizards around!

We then went further into the bush to Crab Creek - there were dead sharks, and mud skippers. Clara did a poops and we all played queen while Daddy took photos. There were dead animals on the road surrounded by birds, and we also went to the bird observatory, but saw very few birds.

We had an aperatif at home, and then walked to Hermit crab beach at sundown - I was the hermit crab master, since we could not find any at all. We only discovered them at the back of the beach, and there we hundreds! I spotted them all!

Gubinge Fish again - lovely!

Clogger and I did a performance for Mummy and Daddy - it was so funny!

Friday
We returned the 4WD, went into town to buy a couple of things. then back to Habitat for a swim and play with teh rugby ball for ages!

It was so nice! We went to Cable Beach for dinner, then to the airport by taxi. We were home at 11.30, and we were all exhausted.

It was an amazing holiday!

Aiysha's Journal We had it at Cable Beach. I had fish and chips, and we bought 2 of them. Daddy and Mummy had 'The Lot'. Once we went in the bush. There was a beach. There were dead sharks. We saw 2 sharks, they were baby sharks. When we came back on the plane, we had a TV. When we came back I was excited so I could play with my friends. The day after we came back, I had my Gym Comp. It was against other teams. High Flyers, which I go to, came third. I got a bronze medal. We were the only ones which came third. It was 4 hours. We were on each apparatus for an hour. We also got a certificate.

Saturday Even though I was tired, we had my gym Competition at Loftus road. I did well, and Mummy and Daddy said I performed very well, and was perhaps the best in my group! My team got bronze, which was fine. I was proud, and Daddy took a video of my floor routine, which went well.

Sunday We had a lazy day at home.

2009-07-15 I am 7, and Mummy and Daddy are 10!

Aiysha:
I am becoming a very big girl now, and I am still best friends with Hanna Banana! I loved my birthday weekend, and it all started when we went to Maccas on Friday night! I loved it, and I hardly said a word while I was tucking into my chicken nuggets! Mummy and Daddy's food took a long time to arrive, and they were not too happy with how small the portions were, but I was!

Mummy and Daddy got me my first desk, and it is amazing! At first, it was the wrong colour, but Daddy took it back with Rocker on Friday, and we got the right one, and we put it all together on Saturday before Hanna arrived. It looks amazing, and I am so happy with it! It has a magnet board and everything! Rocker got to have my Dolls house, and now that she is sleeping in her bed, and not in her cot, Mummy has decorated her room so nicely!

I went to gym on Saturday, and I was so excited about Hanna coming over for a sleepover that afternoon! She arrived at about 4 with her Aunt, and then we took off to Northbridge to have dinner at A Fishy Affair! We had, yes, fish and chips, and it was lovely! I didn't eat the salad though, so Daddy helped himself. It was really windy, but we still went to the square and ran around the park in the dark! That was so much fun, and rocker ran with us! It then started to rain quite hard, so we ran back to our car and got warm on the way home. We had a bath, and then watched a bit of TV before bed. We were pretty sleepy though, and Hanna slept in my room.

I was so excited on Sunday, as it was MY BIRTHDAY! Mummy said it was fine to open all my presents. Hanna gave me hers, and I opened that first. And then all the others - it was amazing ho many presents I had, and my party had not even started yet! Thank you everyone! We all started to get ready for my party at High Flyers, and we left a little early so we could set up. While Mummy and Daddy set up the tables and food, Hanna, Rocker and I went crazy in the gym on our own. Very soon though, everyone started to come along, and Tony got us all together on the trampolines. We did loads of tricks with Tony on the trampoline, and then we did the parachute game, then we ate, then they let us go on all the aparatus! It was brilliant, just the best!

We were meant to go bowling with Daddy's work, but we were pretty late back, so we had no time. Instead, we played with balloons at home, which was really funny! Beck came to pick Hanna up, and promised a sleepover soon! And it was the next week! I went to hers, and we went to Sizzler. I didn't like the food too much there, but the desserts were nice! It was great staying there though, and we watched Hanna Montana.

I went to Grace's party on Sunday, and guess where it was? High Flyers! Daddy had Rock Climbing for his work, so I went to the party, and then went to Rock Climbing! What fun! I love climbing!

Last Friday, Mummy and Daddy were married 10 years! Caroline came over with Joseph, and we played on the computer. Joseph was so tired he fell asleep before me, and ended up staying the night! That was really funny, as we watched TV on Saturday, and had a laugh before we dropped him home. I really like Joseph.

I went bowling with day care last week which was great fun, but I have stayed home with Mummy, and visited lots of people with Mummy! I love doing that!

I loved being 6! I hope 7 is just as fun!

Roxy: I love waking up, and being able to wander out of my room to see everyone! It is so funny! Mummy has done an amazing job with my room - it looks so pretty, and she is still adding to it! I love it so much! I can't wait until everyone sees it, and it is just as pretty as Aiysha's room. I love Aiysha's room, and I love reading my stories in her bed!

C: Brrrrr! It is sooo cold here! We need the fire on every night! We had a lovely day walking in Yanchep, just Steve and I. Beautiful to be out in the peace and quiet!

S: We are rapidly running out of logs for the fire...don't tell Claire!

2009-06-24 Four Sleeps Until My Birthday!

Aiysha:
I am so excited I cannot sleep at night! Hanna Banana is coming over for a sleep over on Saturday, and we're going out to dinner, having my party on Sunday, and also going bowling! Wow! I cannot wait!

All week it has been raining and cold. Last Friday I had a lovely play with Danielle, and on Saturday, Mummy and Daddy gave me my birthday present - a huge desk for my room! I was so excited, and they started unpacking it when Mummy noticed it was the wrong colour. She was not happy, so Daddy has to take it back on his buddy day with Clogger. On Sunday, Daddy tried to take us to Wild Kidz, but it was closed. Then we went to Skate International, but it was closed, so we just played outside in the Close with Luke, which was funny. We all went to Skate International in the afternoon, and Rocker put the smallest skates on, and tries her hardest - it was funny! I was doing ok, but my wheels keep sticking, so I think I may need some new skates if I am going to go really fast!

Two weeks ago I had my gym badge test, and I passed, even though I really hurt my foot on the Beatty Park slides. I could hardly walk, so I didn't manage to do the beam, but I did manage to do everything else. Mummy, Daddy and Rocker came to watch, which was so nice!

I once again got 15/15, and 20/20 for my spellings, and in assembly last week, I got a friendly schools token from the prefects, but I forgot to spend it at the canteen! Silly me!

Clogger: Mmmmmm. Swedish meatballs, and chips! Yummy! I am doing some great poos in the potty and toilet! I think I'm almost ready to not wear nappies all night. Well, last night I did a huge poo, so perhaps not yet!

C: Typical Ikea! So annoying we have to go all the way back there because they got the wrong colour. Oh well, more Swedish meatballs for Daddy! Last week of prac, and I cannot wait!

S: Mmmmmm. Swedish meatballs! Yummy! I got a new camera last week, and it is wicked!
