Aiysha: I missed having Daddy around, but we got to watch Dance Moms!

Clara: Daddy rang every night while he was over in Sydney, and we sat around chatting to him on the phone each night! It was fun, but I preferred him to be with us!

C: It was sooo cold while the work was being done in our kitchen, but we survived! The surface was all done, but we missed Daddy!

S: I went over to Sydney to visit Wollongong University iAccelerate building opening - it was an amazing week with the ECU team of Vicki and Darren - lots of fun both day and night! Bondi, meals out, even ended up in a night club one night! Funny!

2018-07-05 Talent Quest and Lightening Carnival!

Clara: I practiced so hard for the Edgewater talent quest - I decided to do my Counting Stars dance, and Aiysha and Daddy helped me put it together. In the end I came second because Xander had a brilliant Rubix cube routine with his sister - it was so funny! I was really happy coming second to that!

We also had the lightening carnival where we played our school team against other schools. We didn't place, but it was really good fun playing with my school friends!

Lockey and I were chosen to do an audition to be announcersat One Big Voice - it was pretty scary, and I am glad I didn't get chose - maybe next year!

2016-07-04 Dance Troupe Comps, School Holidays Start!

Clara: We had our dance comps at Sacred Heart School. Modern, Tap, Jazz (Blues Brothers), Acro - it was great to do them, and we placed second on tap, which was great. I loved our jazz and acro too.

Aiysha: School holidays! Wahoo!

C:  I loved watching Roxy's dancing comp - it was really good, and we ended up being great judges!

2016-06-28 I am 14!

Aiysha: I am so excited to be 14 - wow, I'm growing up quick!

I had it all planned out - sleepover on the Tuesday AND the weekend! It was great that everyone I invited - Jess, Violana and Casey, could come to get pampered with me. Then they came over for a sleepover, and we even played charades! We went to Hillary's for dinner and then back to do girls stuff!

My back is slowly getting better, and I'm still keeping up with the exercises and bike riding! It is getting annoying though!

Clara: I love Aiysha's friends - they make me feel so welcome!

C: I can't believe Aiysha is 14!

S: Wowzer, that was quick!

2016-05-29 Party Party Party!

Clara: We ended up in Netball Division 1, which is going to be a challenge. We also went to Inflatable World with the netball team, which was fun! I went rollerskating with Aaliyah and Jasmin which was really fun and Daddy and I tried playing table tennis at Picnic Cove with a dodgy ball - not the easiest and it was also getting dark!

Aiysha: I went to 2 parties in one week this week - cool! At Westcoasters, we decided to go in Division 2 as we were getting beaten easily.

Tact was so exciting this year - I was so happy to be put in team 2, but unfortunately, I hurt my back in the first 2 minutes of the first game, and had to sit out the whole weekend! I was devastated, but I still supported the team. It certainly wasn't the same, and I will make it back next year. We actually won our grade, which was amazing, but I desperately wanted to take part.

C: Division 1 will be tough!

S: Shall we take up table tennis?

2016-05-17 Mothers Day!

 
Aiysha: We had a really cool Mother's Day planned! We took Mum out to a mystery breakfast in the Swan Valley where Clara and I had pancakes, Mum and Dad had a cooked breakfast, and after we went to Bells Rapids where we went rock climbing over the rapids! It was loads of fun!

We lost our second grading game, and it rained again! So annoying, but we played okay. I voted that we stay in Division 1 so we can get better and play more competitive teams - I think we can do it!

Clara: I went to watch Daddy play his first tennis match in his tournament - it didn't go quite as smoothly as it could have - he pulled his groin muscle, he hurt his wrist, but even after all that Daddy still managed to pull back from being 1 set down to win 2 sets to one! That was a close one. Well done Dad!

Played the top team in our league today - we did really well, but lost by 8 goals. It was really competitive, and fun to play!

C: Thanks guys for an awesome Mother's Day!

S: Nice to play some competitive, but not too serious tennis finally! Fun!

2016-05-01 State Champion!

 

Aiysha: After battling with my injured back over the past month, I managed to do 1 week training before States - I was so excited, as I had nothing to lose!

I managed to perform pretty well on all apparatus - I came 1st Vault and Beam, 2nd Bars and Floor, and I ended up being State Champion! It felt amazing, and I was so proud of myself! Thank you everyone who helped me get this, and I must look after myself more carefully from now on!

Clara: Aiysha did amazing!

C: So proud of you Paish!

S: What the!?

2016-04-25 The Harveys, Climbing, Yanchep for Anzac Day, Surfing!

 

Clara: We went climbing 2 days in a row at Joondalup Climbing Centre, and my fingers are aching so much!

We are so much better though - we actually started on Level 16!

Aiysha came with us on the second time, and we did bouldering and wall climbing again - it was so much fun, especially when it was pouring with rain outside!

Last night we went for a night time BBQ at Yanchep which was pretty spooky, especially when all the lights went off! Daddy found the timer though and switched them back on. We even had another game of Rummikub, which was funny - Daddy's first win! He's joined the Rummiclub!

So much rain now, I don't think we'll get the photos of the kangaroos on the lake...

Emily and I went in the pool! It was a cool 25 degrees - brrrr!

Aiysha: Went for a picnic at Iluka beach today, and the waves were huge! It was fun though, and nice to go climbing again with Rox and Daddy - Rox is so good!

One week to go before states and netball season! So exciting!

I stayed over at Casey's on Saturday night and made cookies (and accidentally left the gas on!). We went surfing the next day, and I managed to get up once! It was a bit chilly getting in with no wet suit, but once you were in it was fine! It was great fun though!

The Harvey's came to visit, and Joe, Harrison and I went into the city and mooched around on the ferry and in the shops after we could not get into the zoo. It was so much fun, met some dodgy people, and took the train back.

C: Rain!

S: Great climbing Rox and Paish! You'll be doing the difficult climbs in no time!

2016-04-17 Rummikub, Sleepover, Winter is Coming!

Aiysha: Casey had a sleepover after we went shopping, and we watched Team Ninja Warrior - funny! We also went for a walk on our own, and the we prepared for a party at Casey's house!

Clara: I'm learning to play Rummikub!

I had a sleepover at Aaliyah's on Friday night when we came back from Bunker Bay, but I couldn't sleep at all - I was soooo tired the next day.

C: Finally decided on a sink!


S: Our new office looks great!

2016-04-15 Bunker Bay, New Office, Merit Certificate!

Clara: I loved being in Bunker Bay! We did so much climbing up and over rocks, and doing American Ninja Warrior on some walks! On one walk, we actually spotted a shark in the shallow beach area - that was amazing! Tennis on the last day was great! It was on astroturf, and we did a final rally of over 20 shots!

Room tidy! I love tidying my room! I seem to do it a lot quicker than Aiysha - I mean by days!


I got a merit certificate too at the final assembly - wahoo!

Aiysha: I loved going to the gym at Bunker Bay, and Clara and I had some funny sleepovers watching Pretty Little Liars! Daddy tried to gate crash our evenings, but we put up with him. We had some amazing views on our walks, and got some great pictures!

Thanks Watsons for letting us stay there! It was amazing!

Shame I had to clean my room when I got home :-(

C: I loved Bunker Bay - it had some amazing places to visit, and Pullman Resort was not bad at all!

Yummy Nudie orange juice, croissants and baguettes! We tended to go out for lunches, but dinners we made ourselves - we're a very resourceful bunch!

S: We  have moved into yet another office - our 3rd office in 6 months for Burning Fruit, and it is the best in ECUBIC! It use to be a boardroom, and we are so lucky that it was made available.

Bunker Bay was soooo much fun! We went on so many adventures, and even getting a flat tyre in Bunbury was an adventure! Always love Miami Bakehouse...
