2014-01-17 (Fri) - Blue Water / Sidcup (what?)

After working in the morning, went to Blue Water with Lendy and Dave for a stall meeting, then had sushi. Had the most depressed taxi driver ever with total disregard of traffic. Stopped at St. Pancras for coffee, then decided to surprise the girls at Euston when they got off the train - turned out not to be a surprise as they were not there! Saw a TGI Fridays! Granton Card!

Decided to go straight to Denmark Hill (Camberwell Grove) via getting lost. Had mexican that Nick and Lizzie cooked which was lovely, then the amazing apple crumble. Left at about 9.30, then went to Denmark Hill station, took some photos, then took the wrong train which ended up in Salway, Kent 45 minutes later - rushed off the train, but there was nothing. Got advice that the Premier Inn was nearby, and started to walk. 45 minutes later, finally stepped in to the Premier Inn, but too expensive, so took at taxi to Travel Lodge, saving 10, watched Saw II, then bed in a tiny twin room. What a funny mess. Got loads of cool piccies though!

Up at 6.45 to go home via a greasy spoon. Finally home at 9am. Phew!
