2014-01-19 (Sun) - L'Arc Du Triumph, Eifel Tower

Had a lovely sleep. Mummy and Daddy went out to get croissants and bread from a local bakery, which was amazing! Especially the croissants.

Headed out to the L'Arc Du Triumph which was pretty cool as it seemed like the centre of everything and we could see everything. We then walked down the Champs Elysses, which was pretty posh. We then headed to the Eiffel Tower and climbed up to the 2nd floor, which was pretty hard going - steps all the way. The steps in Thailand to the temple were a little harder though, and hotter. When we got to the 2nd floor, the view was amazing! On the way up we read about all the tallest buildings, and how the Eiffel Tower was built.

We then hunted down a charcuterie, and Daddy surprised Mummy by finding the Celeri Rappe - funny. We ate our home made baguettes on a bench outside the Eiffel Tower, then headed back to our flat as we did loads of walking all day. We relaxed for a bit, then headed out down Villers to a french restaurant - had herring for a starter which was amazing. Girls had roast chicken, and Daddy had duck.
