2014- 01-21 (Tue) - Sacre Coeur / Mechanhumanimal
Slept in today, and got out around 11.30 to Sacre Coeur as Mummy really wanted to see the artists, after our usual breakfast of course. We loved the Sacre Coeur, seeing all the artists, looking at the portraits being done, and Roxy even had her silhouette cut out for 4 francs! We had a nice warm drink at a cafe right in the square under a heater, and just watched people. It was fun, even though it was really cold. We went into the Sacre Coeur too, which was really quiet, and loads of people got told off taking photos and wearing hats. Daddy showed us a really spooky photo of Jesus - many people would have missed it.
Had our coldest lunch yet in a park next to the Sacre Coeur with a pigeon house - we've had some amazing lunches. The top of the Eiffel Tower was covered in a cloud!
We quickly got the train down the hill, then decided to accompany Dad to his exhibition, about a futuristic cartoonist Erik Balal - it was pretty interesting. We stopped for crepes before heading to the inside out house (The Pompadou) where we watched a man feed a million pigeons - amazing!
Headed back for some relacky time at the flat, and Paish started to feel unwell. We finally headed out to an italian (after trying to find a Japanese place) but Paish had to go home. I finished my dinner with Daddy, which was funny, and we chatted all the way home. I hope Aiysha is better tomorrow for our flight!
