After a funny night in Geraldton, and chatting to the other guests in the morning about the night before, it was time to head up north for a 5 hours drive to Waramel, a remote station where we could meet Adrien, Jenna and Paish.
Before we went we visited the local beach to try out Daddy's new surf board. The waves were pretty small, and he managed to catch a couple, and also knock his arm which he didn't stop complaining about the whole trip! Funny!
We packed up our surf boards after our breakfast. We stopped off at a garage on the way up for some food, and arrived quite late at around 5pm.
It was very remote, but apparently had some hot springs we could bathe in. We set up our tent, and started our lovely BBQ - sausages, chicken wings, and sweetcorn which was yummy! The stars were amazing, and after dinner we decided to pop to the hot springs which were pretty warm. They were pretty much 3 big tubs in the ground that were filled and emptied every day or so, but were pretty warm. At night they were empty, but in the morning when we went again they were pretty full.
Camping was not the greatest - just seemed pretty crowded, and uncomfortable. Not a great night's sleep. Is camping over-rated?
