After groggily waking up and going to the crowded hot springs in the morning, and walking Cowbao on the dry river bed, it was time to head off.
Another huge 6-hour drive up to Exmouth, but it was worth it! We had our house which was pretty big and perfect.
At night we played Uno - Roxy and Paish seemed to win most of the games - poor Daddy won no games at all!
One night we went to the local school to practice some touch rugby moves.
During the day we drove along the coast to find the best snorkelling spots around. It was pretty windy, but we managed to get to some amazing places.
On the first day, we went out on a canoe trip for Daddy's birthday on the eastern side as the west was too windy. We went with around 5 other canoes in this shallow sheltered inlet, and the floor was covered with stingrays it was pretty amazing! We went into some of the mangroves and also saw a turtle! It was so cool. What a start.
We had to buy some more fins as Paish's Kmart fins broke as soon as we put them on. Lucky we bought them as there was so much to see. We all managed to see different things. Mummy and Rox spend a long time off snorkelling off Turquoise Bay which was amazing, and Daddy just watched a turtle at the bottom of the sea at Oyster Stacks.
We had two attempts at surfing at Dunes - Daddy didn't manage to catch a wave on his new board, Roxy caught one, and Paish did pretty well. The waves were pretty nice though, and annoying there were hard to catch.
We had one night out at an Italian restaurant which was lovely. Callie loved it!
